Really what's that? I know your joking that you thought I didn't know that.

I don't see why if Hamilton was going to try to make a huge hire that he would be halfway across the country watching basketball? I would think the guy would want to be a little more focused for one thing today. You know i don't know what Mike does or how he gets things done but I only speaking for myself if I was Mike tonight and these were the circumstances.

Garner and his wife are eating with Kiffin and a couple other staff members right now. Hubbs says it is to early to call it a done deal.

IMO, it looks very promising.

Depends on which rumor you believe. A supposedly reliable UGA poster/booster says Garner has agreed to a 2 year deal to coach LBs.

Go watch the Colts game and come back, there should be more info then.

If this deal for Garner goes through were does this leave James Cregg? CLK seems to be going after either top notch recruiters or position coaches lately and this guy was an assistant OL coach?

Where does that leave Chaney? Could one take TE/Tackles and the other take interior lineman?

Here is the run down on coaches:
1. CLK HC
2. Monte DC
3. Chaney OC/?
4. Orgeron DL/RC
5. Cregg ?
6. Reaves QBs
7. Garner?
8. Gonzales/Trooper? WRs?
9. Drayton?
10. ??? (Prolly a DBs coach)

I'd say Cregg will take TEs, Garner at LBs, and Chaney at OL. To get Gonzo, we may keep Drayton at RBs. We could have Gran/Trooper or Gonzo/Drayton perhaps. STs will be assigned to one of those 10.

Do you really think that Kiffin is going to bump Cregg to TE's? Didn't he originally bring him here to coach the line?

Maybe Garner will coach LB's. I think we should hire Gran as RB and ST's coach. Cregg will coach TE's and maybe OL and let Chaney concentrate on OC (game plans etc.) Chaney may coach TE's/OC and Cregg may coach the line. I would like to see a few good position coaches at LB and DB. I would love to see J. Bates as QB coach and have Reaves coach WR's. Gonzo would be good as WR's coach.
