The three wins part isn’t true. We’ve only won twice in the league since the end of September. Arsenal in early December and Leeds last month. I’m trying to work out who the four to appear in court are. DCL today for some sort of driving offense, and a certain Icelandic midfielder for nobody knows exactly what. Not sure who the other two are.

Going to need UT to sew up this tournament win by halftime so I can watch Everton’s massive game with Newcastle.

Also, soooooo weird seeing Barcelona playing in Europa League.

Pretty good set of matches for the CL quarterfinals. The first legs are in a couple weeks, which means the Chelsea sale almost certainly won’t be finalized and their game with RM will be played either behind closed doors or with a limited crowd.

They also drew for the semifinals, and City and Liverpool can’t possibly meet before the final. Still, City/Real Madrid and Liverpool/Bayern would make for some fun semis assuming they all manage to navigate this next round.

The deal will most likely still be in the process of being completed but if it does end up being Boehly, he and his team have mentioned the fastest deal of this magnitude they have done is 10 days but they will try and see if they can break their record. Both parties want to proceed very quick once a bid is selected. Journalists that cover Chelsea have mentioned if a deal is in place but not finalized by CL week the government they may start to relax some of the restrictions in place like no fans. I’m not holding my breathe though.

It’s been said that most likely the finalists will be selected by Monday and then the new owner selected and start working towards a deal by the end of next week. I could see it being the beginning of the following week personally.

First season managing in EPL and Patrick Vieira has Crystal Palace in the semi-final of FA Cup and sitting about mid-table with a positive goal differential. Impressive.
