If the Rs lose congress in the midterms you can bet your bottom dollar Trump will be impeached and probably removed.

I think there is a slight chance he leaves after 2 years anyways..get all he can get done then hand the keys over.

To build on what @LouderVol said, the majority of military spending is waste. Military contractors have no incentive to rapidly produce effective weapons systems. The incentive is to keep the contract going- because the government (specifically, the right) will always keep spending on "defense".

As an example, about 7-8 years ago, I was part of a project to analyze the potential effectiveness of a radar system for a branch of the military. At the point I came into the project for our review, the current contract was in its 5th or 6th year, at about $500M in total spend, and had produced a single prototype that failed spectacularly in its only field test to date. At this point, 7 or 8 years later, the prime contractor has an ongoing $1B contract and has put zero functional units into the field. Development for all of this initially started on another set of contracts back in 2005.

Cutting military spend is absolutely a viable goal. The billions wasted on this kind of **** should be cut, and cut immediately. Then we can turn that money into innovation and development.

PS: The Chinese military supply chain would collapse under pressure just like Japan's did in WWII.

As I said, yes, Military spending should be audited. However, the other nonsense expenses should be cut first.

China has way more air craft carriers / war ships than us. This cannot happen.

Dems in the Congress should call for the arrest of Musk and his DOGE Agents. They are guilty of Obstruction of Government Operations, which is a felony. They are also in violation of the Constitution. Only the Congress may fund or defund a government program or agency. Musk is clearly a domestic enemy of the Constitution.

All those who have taken an Oath to defend the Constitution must take action and seize Musk, even if there is resistance from Trump loyalists. This includes any remaining FBI Agents that are still loyal to the Constitution. This is war and Federal Agents must act to defend the Republic before it is lost. Not only the Dems in Congress should be calling for Musk's arrest, there should be a national petition calling for his arrest as well. This should be all over the Media. Arrest Musk Now!

I seriously doubt a majority of these weaponized insane people can be reprogrammed.
