Actually, I think it can be, depends on the details though. We'll see.

I personally don't care if those people are liquidated but apparently the Orange man might have a way to end this once and for all at a micro level there.

North Korea being on that list says how bad that list is. I would take a lot of the ships we have drydocked over most of what NK has in the water.

tonnage isn't everything, but we outweigh all three of those nations combined. We out weigh the next 8 navies combined. North Korea doesn't even crack the Top 10 in tonnage despite their numbers.

Its like counting those Toyota Technicals as military vehicles. yeah it MAY get the job done, but its really only impressive to someone that has nothing.

Our navy has the second most military jets in the world, only behind our airforce, about 300 more than Russia (before Ukraine), and 500 more than all of China. considering one of our aircraft carriers can deploy 90 different aircraft, its a little short sighted to count an air craft carrier as "one".

Frankly, this is an ignorant and borderline idiotic take.

Waste is waste. Defense money isn't currently going to build new ships, it's going into the same bureaucratic waste as in every other agency. It is a nonsense expense, and our military has almost more nonsense expenses than ALL THE OTHER AGENCIES THAT EXIST COMBINED.

Nobody should be concerned about higher volumes. I could float a hundred thousand repurposed tin cans out into the ocean and claim I have carriers. It's about capability, not volume.
