No, I am certainly not, LG, your posts exhibit some serious signs of being over-the-top disturbed about Trump. Or you're a bad troll.
You're not really reading what was actually said and/or understanding how Trump works. He says outrageous, or seemingly outrageous stuff. For example, we are no closer to having plans for putting boots on the ground in Gaza than we were a week ago.
His idea has merit if for no other reason is that he is right on the core idea that the Palestinians live in a crappy place with few resources and even crappier leadership that leads to having their homes destroyed and dying by the thousands every so often.
So he brings a new idea to the table. It is an idea! And all the deranged leftists, including you, my friend, crap your pants. A framework to involve the powers in the area to make something worthwhile. He's not Henry Kissinger and throws out ideas as a basis for discussion in less than politic language.
Believe this or not, I say this as a friend: calm the hell down.
Its like having a conversation w/a fence post or w/that sparky swampfox poster.
Per Putin? Really? So, now he is credible?
Not sure how you should go about disposing of your Ukrainian flags. Maybe contact their embassy for surrender.
Fair enough take. I'm just saying take a step back and don't take everything Trump says as The Gospel of Donald. It will do your BP good.I guess maybe its a difference in how we view US government in international affairs. I prefer a speak softly and carry a big stick approach to irrational bluster made on a whim.
Depends on whether you believe Putin and the Russians have worked to interfere in our elections, social media, etc. I believe that to be the case and so am naturally concerned when Trump, who without question benefited from such interference at various points, acts to thwart efforts to detect and combat it. Anyone with common sense would have that concern.
If you believe that Putin and the Russians did not interfere, then you presumably would not have the same concerns. I can't debate or discuss it with you if you take that position, which I believe to be fundamentally at odds with objective evidence that they DID interfere.
But, having said that, I think the ultimate issue is the DEGREE to which that interference occurred. There is no way to quantify that, but in my view if we can't be certain of that now, then the absolute LAST thing we should be doing is reducing our ability to detect it moving forward.
Putin and the Russians aren't the only foreign actors who have "interfered" in our elections just like we have interfered in the elections of numerous countries.
Our government can only ensure that our elections are secure, it cannot control social media or media in general.
Being so dismissive of the point tends to prove the larger concern that Trumpsters just don't want to even acknowledge the possibility that Putin holds oddly unnatural sway over Trump.
is it actually possible? sure.Being so dismissive of the point tends to prove the larger concern that Trumpsters just don't want to even acknowledge the possibility that Putin holds oddly unnatural sway over Trump.
