We all still called it Benning anyway.It was petty to change it back to Benning and to make it seem like you were highlighting the service of someone in WWI that no one knew about. I am happy for Fred Benning getting recognition, but his name was used as a pawn in the grand scheme of things. Gen Moore had the same Distinguished Service Cross as Benning.
