It would seem logical that Biden could be called into testify in a Grand Jury as to the specific crimes he is aware of that he gave pre-indictment pardons for. Him issuing a pardon is based on belief a crime has been committed... what are the crimes?

Biden might not be with it enough to testify and he still has 5th amendment rights so I don't think we can count on much from him but his family absolutely can testify. That's where this can really get exposed

Sounds good with 1 exception. Prosecute, convict, and then pardon. That way he'd be the real convict felon.

Oh he can testify, whether it's something that be relied upon is a whole other matter... but if he spills the beans than you have the trail which would not be spoiled by the poisonous tree. He can only plead the 5th for which he is involved in a crime.

Meaning Biden's murdered someone, they all got together and buried the body, and nobody knows who it is... and the family doesn't know what happened nor where the body is. The pardon process is about admission of a crime and on the tail end... mitigation from the penalties. The public has a right to know, because its the public that gave the criminal the get of free jail card. The pardons can actually be conditional, meaning Joe could have said.... Ashley here is pardon but first you have to tell us where the body is.

If you allow a President to use this, why not just have the U.S. government kill everyone you want.... and issue them all a pardon without any explanation as to who was involved.

The get out of jail free card is there but that doesn't mean the public doesn't have a right to know... it does. Have you consider that other people could have civil cases against them for their criminal acts because of the damage they might have caused?

If someone is using a deadly weapon and LE has reasonable belief that someone is going to receive great bodily injury or immediate death... whatever they got to use to stop them is okay in my book. The problem is none of that happened in this instance. Now, lets say she did have a weapon and others had arms, and they started firing on the LE, he absolutely has a right to try and take them down. That isn't what happened here.

Ronald Reagan was shot, Hinkley wasn't shot... they took him down physically even though they could have, why? It was easier to just grab him and take him down without risking additional lives, but it was close. None of that even existed in this case. Even if the girl had a weapon, a person has to have reasonable belief that there is going to be immediate death or great bodily injury.

You wouldn't know she was "armed" with a folding pocket-knife in her pants pocket until you shot her and she was searched. She brandished no weapon. Byrd and witnesses testified she was not armed. You can scratch that off the justification list.

Further, there is no indication Babbitt was violent at any point. In fact, that linked video and testimony of the indie journo who captured likely indicate she put herself between rioters/protesters and police, casually chatted with them, and tried to keep an agitator (Zachary Alam) from breaking the windows.

Rather see it exposed and DOJ set an example by not prosecuting Biden at all. If you prosecute and then Trump pardons because he's incapacitated, it indicates you shouldn't have prosecuted.

I would say generally they should be prosecuted if there is evidence that shows a crime was committed, whether they are capable of standing trial (aid in their defense) at that particular time is a whole other matter. But even if he can't stand for trial, he could be held until he is able to assist in the defense.

No reason has to be given to receive a pardon. To me they are separate things. In this case, whether any of that occurs, he for sure has information of federal crimes being committed which the government nor the public know about.
