If we’re lucky and God blesses us, Congress will force Harris to nominate a competent VP, that once she’s impeached, we could have a true leader.

I agree. With that said, I would hope she picks Kyrsten Sinema. There's something about a chick with glasses who wears short skirts with knee-high boots. You know she's kinkier than rolled up barbed wire.

Most dems are lucky that the heart and lungs don't need the cognitive part of the brain to function. Maybe evolution will decide breathing and blood flow should be more difficult than being a liberal ... just won't be soon enough to save humanity.

"Just in time" is a seriously flawed business strategy; a short term profitability tool that puts inventory on somebody else's shelves and defers payments. The deferred payment is really a one time event; after that the payment stream wouldn't change much; but some corporate execs and stockholders went to the bank happy ... once ... the change hands and gain a stroke theory of management.

The rest of the equation is all contingent upon everything working normally. An ill timed storm may be a nuisance, but anything much bigger (say the required dockworkers, truck drivers, or merchant seamen decided to take extended vacations and demand more pay) and the whole thing gets screwed up.

In this case the chip makers decided they didn't want to put a bunch of chips on their shelves and wait months for automakers to need them; what they and everybody else didn't count on was that homebound people were bored and wanted new toys that used display chips that weren't sitting on somebody's shelf, and then some kind of extreme weirdness in the shipping container world set in.
