My mother in law came to visit...... I took no time off......
When I was born my dad had hay down and rain was in the forecast so my dad dropped my mom off at the hospital, went back home and bailed hay, milked and fed then came back to the hospital hours after I had arrived. Things sure have changed.
It's just the difference in types of work. Farm work is hard and often times can't be set aside to complete at a later time.I took a couple days off but then yeah I was just in the gandmas way.

I believe I took a week off and worked from home the second week. I just think it's critical for women to both bond and simply heal
if there's no question then what's the issue. Like I said earlier it should beThere's no question about that but who's going to pay for that time off? Let's give an example. Let's say she's a dental hygienist. She cleans and takes x-rays to the production of $1000/day. If she's gone who takes that loss? The dental practice either has to replace her at great cost or do w/o that income. How many weeks should that employer be forced to pay both her salary and her replacement's?
Up to their employer.
I personally think they should on time because of the societal benefit it provides. I think compensation should be up to the employer. Right now many are forced into taking short term disability
