Just bought Sign of The Times on itunes about 2 weeks ago.

It will be ridiculous if they ever release his entire music catalogue. At one point in the late 80's or early 90s, it was rumored he had enough unreleased material to make about 20 albums.

Easily the greatest combination of musician, artist, songwriter and entertainer of this generation...and that includes Michael Jackson.

Although I probably have heard them from Movies & TV Shows. I couldn't name one of his songs outside of Purple Rain and wouldn't know it if it I heard it right now.

Seemed like a weird dude!

If you can't name any Prince tunes aside from Purple Rain, then you have somehow managed to avoid all popular music for the past 35 years or so.

The generation of music that is now gone (MJ, Whitney, and Prince) makes me incredibly sad.

However I do like individual songs from artists in all kinds of music.

I doubt anyone on here has ever heard it, but Prince's guitar solo on his cover of Just My Imagination is one of the greatest guitar performances I've ever heard. It is legendary amongst Prince fans. Do yourself a favor a take a listen. The song starts out slow, but at the 2:30 mark it takes off and builds to perfection.
