It wouldn’t be the 1st time they’ve shelled over the dough to buy out a UT football coach... Hopefully Pruitt can turn the ship around this season, and they won’t have to though.

I don't want to start calling you names, such as stupid, or accuse you of being an idiot, but I did not see an improvement between game one and game two, we lost both at home. They were two different teams, both should have been a cake walk. I guess for some to post another "L" was okay, why? Because "They" saw an improvement! An improvement that resulted in another big "L" is not an improvement, it was just a different way to lose. You bet I'll be tuned in tomorrow, if we win, we have improved, if we post another "L" then we have once again figured out a new way to lose, losing is not improving. God bless your heart.

It doesn’t matter.
The university isn’t spending the money and neither are the boosters. JH is the wildcard and he’s in no hurry to fix this mess. You may remember that the entire fan base and university freaked out over the coach he wanted to hire.
It’s CJP this year and next.

You mean the games we lost? So you think we're better now than we was last year because that would be improvement not sucking slightly less week 2 as opposed to week 1 when we still got whipped by an inferior team.

Hate to break it to ya bub, but we’re NOT a very good team right now which, for the most part, is not this staff’s fault. They’re trying to fix this thing and it’s not an easy fix. Also BYU is not ‘inferior’ as you say. That’s laughable....

If you mistakenly believed we would win anywhere in the neighborhood of 8 games this year, that’s on you.

I fully expect the Gump to be back next year and pull out a 5-7, 6-6 season then be given a raise and extension. It’s how we roll.

It’s all the staffs fault. We have more Pruitt players this season than last and isn’t that all the Gump needs? More of his players?

Thank You. I would like for anybody (even the stupid folks that comment, what coach could turn the program around in one year. Freshman have to learn. Between the transferring , being dismissed. injury, and early departure we are playing about half freshmen in the two deep. Give him a chance and them write your comments that most of them border on insanity. Some of this garbage does nothing but turn a recruit away.

You don't need to break anything to me bub, I been watching the games too. I said we would be 7-5 and if BYU isn't a inferior team then please tell me their recruiting rankings compared to ours. What's laughable is ppl making excuses for the product we see on the field.

Kansas fired Turner Gill after only two years. Howard Shellenberger only lasted one year at Oklahoma. If you don't win, you get fired or forced out at any major college...

We need to give Pruitt until the end of year 3 to make a true evaluation of whether or not we need to move on. Firing him any time before that and good luck trying to lure another coach here. It's like people have short memory and cant remember the hard time we had two years ago. Heck, NC state coach turned us down lol.

The administration needs to show loyalty and give the current staff an honest chance. We have a great staff. One of the top OC and DC (Pruitt) with good resumes in the country. We aren't going to get better. I get 1-7 is ugly, but the staff still is trying to work on turning over the roster and developing the program. Giving this staff a other year, even after a bad record, would do wonders in the next hiring process if it comes to that.

He may not be ‘the guy’ but he’s going to need more than a season and a half for that to be determined.
