Because of the fact you have an ETSU education your post doesn't do much for me. If you're ok with starters giving subpar effort you go right ahead and cheer for it. I'll continue holding our division 1 athletes to a higher standard.
Tatum scored 16 points. Golden had 2. You are an idiot to bring up Tatum's name in this conversation because he played great. This conversation is about the UK game and the UK game only.
Please return to the shadows and don't run your mouth until you actually have something productive to say, which judging by the quality of your education could be awhile. Thanks champ.
Wow, I wasn't expecting to be hammered that hard Altidore17. You really got me good on that one. I am really sorry for having questioned your obvious basketball expertise. I really shouldn't have done that with my college education. How dare I go to a school for athletics, and to get a free education. I'm pathetic. :swoon3:
I really am such an idiot for bringing tatum into this argument. Clearly he played great given he had 16 points and all. Points scored should really be the only stat that justifies how hard a player plays, and whether or not they played well. I'm just going to ignore the fact that he had poor shot selection in the clutch, and gave up a lot of points on D. Also, I really need to rethink Golden only giving up 4 points to gillcrest on D, and having 6 assists. I am such an idiot.
Look Altidore17, Yeah Golden didn't play his best game, but to say that this game is on his shoulders for only scoring 2 points is laughable at the least. When it comes down to the x's and o's, basketball is a team game. The FACT is, there were 8 poor shots within the last 4 minutes. There were also 2 turnovers within the last 6. That is the reason we lost the game. Not two points by a point guard that accounted for 10+ during the span of the game, including assists, who also played good D against a top 5 NBA draft prospect. Also, if i'm not mistaken, what would happen if Golden scored 20 points, and didn't play good D against Gillcrest? Oh wait, that is right, basketball is played on two sides of the court.
I'm not going to go into taking personal shot about your life because that is childish, and shows that you have nothing good to support your argument outside of verbal retaliation. Yes, Golden did not play a good game. However, you are wrong to blame it only on him, when there are 10 other players for UT that were in the game. You know what, I think that I'm going to blame this loss on Maymon, because he was blocked twice, and both of those instances lead to scoring plays for UK. That was the difference in the game right there. Yeah, that has a solid foundation, I think i'll stick with that.
Have a great day sunshine!
