The only difference I see is that Crompton languished under the previous staff, but immediately responded to a new coaching staff (Kiffin). There was an obvious change that changed his career arc.While I agree with most of this, it’s absolutely not over for Milton just like it was never over for Crompton.
I’m just glad we have a coach who wants to play the best guy now.
Milton wasn't very good, before (Michigan), and he hasn't responded well to Heupel's coaching (you could argue he's regressed). That coaching isn't going to change in the foreseeable future, though I certainly am cautious about throwing the baby out with the bathwater.
