The visit went well enough that the 5-foot-11, 175 pound wide out will be in Knoxville next month to see things up close.
"The biggest attraction at this point is coach Kiffin," Carroll said. "His offense is what they are running at Southern Cal. He is taking that to the SEC. Coach Reaves talked to me and showed me how they use receivers in the offense and pointed out what coach Kiffin did with Mike Williams as a freshman and a sophomore. Coach Reaves said that is how they would like to use me."
I talked with Cathedral (Los Angeles) wideout Randall Carroll on Saturday, who spent a lot of time in our suite with some of his coaches. One thing is very clear and that's Carroll is wide open in his choice of schools. To be honest, Carroll really didn't sound positive about any of the schools he talked about with the exception of Tennessee. He said he'll take January trips to Tennessee -- he spoke highly of Vols coach Lane Kiffin -- Arizona State and possibly Florida.

Couldn't this have been posted in the Randall Carroll thread? If you had looked for it, you would have seen that everything you have had to add is already known. Not trying to be a jerk, but it just takes a little search.

I dont understand why they used the BMW comparison.
They are nothing alike. Would have been better served to use a Steve Smith ,WR Giants, comparison.
Not to mention he is doing better in the pros than BMW.
But they do get paid to do this so they would know better than me.

Reports are that Carroll is very intrigued by CLK and plans to visit Tennessee.
And it is expected he will decommit from USC in the near future
:clapping:
Now if only CLK could bring in a good QB.
