Randall Carroll

hes prolly gonna goto CAL, kid has a 'tude problem and reminds me of a MeShawn Jackson

You talking about the dude that made UT's punt coverage team look like they had cinder blocks tied to their ankles last year?

I'd be happy to have him in orange.

I read somewhere that he really liked Kiff when he went to a Football camp at USC and that was part of the reason he liked USC so much.... Oh crap let me search google, because I know it is coming.. Link???? It is almost like playing poker and having one of the guys tell you that he might place a bet to put you all in, just to watch you count your chips when he was going to fold anyway... :) also what is is with the You need to search before you post.. Most of those threads have so much fluff in them that you can't read throught them anyway.. Your have to read 5 pages of post to get 2 pages of info... I think we need to come up with a red flag to throw so we can have an official review if it was a repost or some legit new info...

That was one of the greatest catches i remember seeing in my life. As said above all they are doing is trying to get these kids starry (sp?) eyed and sell what they can become.

Dude reminds me of Harvin. I hope we can get him. He's small, but from what i've seen, he can fly. We can hit him on a streak or a post, and his speed can take it on in so we can hear rocky top.

If he's as cocky as everyone seems to think he is he may come here just so down the road he can say he started the turnaround of our program. Which, by the way, is fine with me. If he's everything I'm hearing and reading I'll take him!! Go Kiff Go!

Some people should realize that confidence is everything in football. I understand why people may not like it but understand that the kid is 17-18 years old and he will probably get grounded when he gets here.

With the current state of our program, the last thing we should be worried about is a great player's attitude.

There are probably some people that post on this thread with attitude problems. To say the #2 WR prospect has an attitude problem, not like anyone on this thread knows the kid, but over 85% of us would be cocky too if we knew every school in the country was knocking down our door trying to get our attention. I hope RC enjoys his visit to Rocky Top enough to put his name on a letter of intent. We are all drinking the Kiffin Kool-Aid whether we know it or not.

Tell him that hillbillies know how to party better.

I don't know if anyone has seen this or not, but I read it on ESPNs recruiting page in the west coast section. It's actually very intriguing, and gives me hope. I know the Cal guy is positive Carrol is a Cal lock and everything, but this has got to put some doubt in your mind.

Carroll no longer a solid USC commit

Notes from the press box at the California state championships:

• I talked with Cathedral (Los Angeles) wideout Randall Carroll on Saturday, who spent a lot of time in our suite with some of his coaches. One thing is very clear and that's Carroll is wide open in his choice of schools. To be honest, Carroll really didn't sound positive about any of the schools he talked about with the exception of Tennessee. He said he'll take January trips to Tennessee -- he spoke highly of Vols coach Lane Kiffin -- Arizona State and possibly Florida.

He said Georgia is not under consideration any more and was even iffy on Florida because of their change in offensive coordinators. He said he won't visit USC since he has been there before and when asked if he still considers himself committed there, he replied, "Nah, not really."

You don't call anyone a lock when they have visits still on the board. Not to mention a recruit who has been talking us up so much.
