Cobb did what was best for him. And I am very VERY glad he is at Lexington.

Every game he plays his #'s will get better and better.:clapping:

Cobb is just a freshman. He probably would have eventually been useful for UT. I don't think we'd be talking about him as much had he gone to another conference. I just hope he doesn't turn out to be Chris Lofton on grass.

Grass, in this case, = football field. And this would be the opposite of Lofton, as he crossed the border to head north.

We missed out on a stud with Cobb. He had two td's in the 4th quarter for a comeback win for the Wildcats. He is out for us!

He would have never stepped on the field at UT as a freshman. This staff doesn't always play the best players and sometimes can not see talent. His best opportunity for himself is at KY.

Like Chris Lofton, Randall Cobb had to decide what was the best situation for him. I disagree that he would not see the field as a frosh at UT, because just one look at his performance yesterday, and you would understand.

He was a good high school player but not great by any stretch. Could he have played at UT? yes in 2 or 3 years.

He could be playing right now at Tennessee. But you are essentially right. He wouldn't have seen the field until his Jr year... :banghead2:

I 100% agree, great comparison. Cobb may not have seen the field this season had he attended UT, but only because Phil doesn't play underclassmen. Guy can play.

BM, are you or the UK fan base disappointed in Lanxter's performance this year? I myself thought he have a breakout year.

I played against him in high school the kid is unreal. I didnt expect him to do this good this early but he could definitely have played for Tennessee as a redshirt freshman or soph.

very clever. You called him a BM and he still responded, none the wiser.

he is just not good enough to get a spot at UT football team, period.

Neither were Patrick Willis, Josh Bullocks, Daniel Bollocks, Tyson Clabo, or Graig Cooper.

You must be watching your JP Penny's videos from 10 years ago. There are plenty of players from non-powerhouse programs that could easily contribute to this offense.
