Oklahoma's offer to 2011 wide receiver Josh Turner from Oklahoma City Millwood may signal a change of philosophy for Bob Stoops and his staff. It's very rare for Oklahoma to offer an in-state rising junior this early in the process, but some feel that late offers to players like Gerald Jones and David Oku, who felt they were left behind some Texas offers, might have hurt the Sooners in the past.
Not like jones is tearin it up and having crazy stats. I like him, but I'm waiting on the break out year. And oku, well that's tbd. One they should be sorry about is meach.

who knows, jones might have twice as many touchdowns and catches if he had a heisman throwing to him rather than a crompton
In addition to Southern Miss and Miss State, Triplett is being heavily recruited by Tennessee and UCLA.
I think Tulane is close to offering and Tennessee has been asking about me a lot.
Jones would be spoken of very highly if Tennessee had a QB that could get him the damn ball.
Look at what he did against LSU in the SEC championship game.
As a general fan of football, this would be interesting to follow.

T.J. Stripling and Ken Malcome both had Coach Kenny Carter come by yesterday as did Mack Brown. Brown also saw coaches from LSU and Louisville. Garrison Smith said that coach Carter was scheduled to stop by his school on Friday. Sources from the Byrne program said coach Carter also stopped in to check on Brandon Willis and Torian Richardson.
Chris Dunkley said that everyone is coming to see him and the rest of his teammates on Monday. Tennessee and Wisconsin stopped in to see Cory Lemonier and Florida State and Georgia Tech went to visit with Tavaris Barnes. Pitt made it down to check in on Marcus Shaw and Terrence Mitchell who's only visit has been to FSU was greeted by Ole Miss, Virginia and NIU. Mitchell also said the factors that he will use to make his decision: 1) academics, 2) playing time, 3) defensive style I can flourish in, 4) comfort level/chemistry with in-coming freshman class, 5) does potential school have track record of playing true freshman or redshirting them, 6) putting players in the NFL, 7) dad's thoughts, 8) ability to compete for national title, 9) ability to compete for conference title, and 10) location.
Justin McCay has had visits from Georgia, Florida, Kansas, Arkansas and Texas A&M. Coach Bryan White visited McCay as well as Calvin Barnett, DeMarco Cobbs and Tony Jefferson. Jefferson had some very positive things to say about Florida and the attention that the Gators are showing him at this time.
Kenbrell Thompkins said that coach White came to see him as well.
On a side note, I caught up with Christian Jones and he told me that he is not close to making a decision and he likes both FSU and UF a lot right now. Obviously the longer it goes the better for UF but still seems to be a uphill battle.
Quarterback Marcus Smith had three teams come by Florida, Arkansas and South Florida. Coach Loeffler went to see Smith from the Florida staff. Oklahoma coaches went to see Matt Elam and Gerald Christian and Alabama went to see Da' Rick Rogers from Calhoun. Tennessee, Wisconsin and Rutgers all went to see Eduardo Clements and Tennessee/Wisconsin also took a trip to see Delvin Jones. Tennessee and Wisconsin seem to be everywhere together. They might be sharing a rental car to cut down on expenses. Both Pitt and UConn went to see Jaylen Watkins. Louis Nix just told me that while no schools have been to see him yet he is expecting the Gator coaches. LSU and Southern Miss have been to see Solomon Patton. Tennessee and Alabama have both been to see quarterback Barry Brunetti. Florida and Florida State have both been by to see Gideon Ajagbe.
As you can see things are crazy right now, and this is just from the last two days of talking with each of these players.
Central Florida went to see Ian Silberman and Florida will see him on Monday.
Virginia went to see Christian Jones on Thursday. B.J. Bostic saw South Carolina, Duke, Kentucky and Georgia Tech.

5:30 am: Wake up!!!! Tired from comPETEing all day yesterday!!! LOL. Anyway, I put on some FUBU shorts and my FUBU hoody to relate to my PLYRZZ!!!!!
5:40 am: It’s soooo early but I have plenty of competing ahead of me. Normally I just roll a J and drink some coffee but with all the competing scheduled I’m gonna have to snort some of that yayo I got from snoop last night!!!! LUV THAT GUY, LUV HIS ENERGY
8:00 am: I feel unstoppable. Some Nike Guys filming a sparq training commercial stopped by. They asked me about speed so fearing they knew I did some lines earlier I changed the subject to French toast and it worked!!!!! LETS COMPETE
9:30 am: I’m so upset I do everything I can to fit in with my PLYRZZZZZ. But today all the RBs surrounded me with those shields we use and they beat me with them till I was crying. They thought it was funny. IDK WAT 2 DO. I wear baggy clothes and I try to use slang but they wont except me. Corp called me Michael from the Office today, I pretended it didn’t hurt.
10:30 am: turns out snoop sold me flour
11:30 some recruits are here so I say WUDDUP!!!! I only talk to them for about 30 seconds about competing then let snoop take them around town. 3 of the 4 return.Snoop always does all my recruiting.
12:30 pm: Will Farrell is here!!!!!! Once again he wont talk to me but that’s cool I just stand around him so people think we’re friends. MA.. THE MEAT LOAF HAHAHAHA LOL LOL LOL
2:50 pm: OUCH!!!! I just woke up. I think I fainted or got knocked out, hard to tell. I was wearing my FUBU hoody but now its gone. Anyway the last thing I remember was walking up to my RB stable and I said “what’s up ma’ ni-“ and that’s the last thing that happened. Probably fainted again. Every time I faint I wake up with no shoes or wallet.
3:30 pm: Competing
5:00 pm: Dinner time!!!! I was having fun until Mays took my rice crispy treat and gave me a dead arm. LUV MA RCTs
6:30 pm: Some jerk on the radio said I was a bad coach!!!!! I AGREE LOL LOL LOL!!! I don’t even coach. I just let snoop recruit the kids so I always have the best PLYRSZZZZZ!!!! I just let them call they plays I mean they’re good at football. Plus normally we play teams with one or two players that could compete for us so its usually pretty easy. ( I don’t know how we lose 2-3 a year????) In reality I have only made two calls my entire career. 1. In 05’ against ND I told Matt to spike it, instead they ran a QB sneak, when Reggie got to the sideline he gave me what he called a “ball tap” whatever it was I didn’t like it. 2. I told Reggie to pitch the ball against Texas just to see what he’d say and he actually did it!!!! I was so happy a player listened to me I wept.
8:30 pm: Someone flattened my tires again. Probably Shoemate (FULLBACK LOSER) ha-ha lol lol lol.
8:45 when I went back into the coaches office I overheard coach Norton saying that he was watching Chappelle Show last night and that it was the Mad Real World episode (MY FAV) but he said that I reminded him of Chad. NOT COOL NORTY
9:30 pm: no one will give me a ride home and b/c fainted I lost my wallet no cab. I HAVE TO CALL JDB 4 A RIDE!!!!! If I’m Michael Scott then JDB is Dwight.
10:00 finally get home and into my PJs. Time for some Madden.
1030 Still cant compete at the professional level
1100 still cant compete at the professional level
1230 AM This game is unrealistic. My teams ratings should be all 99s and my opponents 50s that’s the only way I can win.
2:00 AM I get a prank call again from Charlie Weis. He doesn’t know I know its him but I can hear him breathing hard and in between breaths I can hear him crunching some chips. STOP IT CHARLIE
3:45 AM Snoop wakes me up demanding 1 million dollars straight cash and a ride to Mexico. He says he wont recruit for me if I don’t do it. LOL G2G KEEP COMPETING!!!!
from greeneville, the sixth sold-out stop on tour. Kiffin says they do plan to sign 2 quarterbacks and he does expect bryce brown to wear no. 11. Said brown had worn 5 in the past to emulate reggie bush but that they've discussed brown wearing no. 11 in the coming season. Didn't say what that means for todd campbell, currently no. 11.
Just a few pieces of info I've come across today. I'll be honest, I'm just repeating them, not necessarily saying they are 100% true, but I don't post stuff from bogus people. I feel like they are pretty accurate.
1. UT has been given the OK to sign Hood and that's going to become official shortly.
2. Moody will find out by the end of the week and nothing has happened to make me think UT won't offer.
3. From what I was told, I think Jawaun James is likely to commit to UT in the next several weeks.
4. Coach Reaves is STILL out west working on Heaps. (not sure on this one)
Guys, I'm just not 100% on the Reaves one. I was told he's still out there, just repeating that.
