BJ sees the end of the road at UT. He knows he's not going to get to play so he is doing what he feels is best. Can't say that I blame him. It is going to suck that we are going to be down to two QBs now. We will definitely have to get two QBs for 2010.

After months and month of rumors, it’s official. Rivals.com analyst Greg Ladky is reporting that four-star safety Latwan Anderson has transferred to Cleveland Glenville. Ladky is currently at Glenville now and today was Anderson’s first day of classes.

Ed Orgeron noted as one of the best defensive line coaches in the country picked up another defensive lineman commitment when Patrick Harris of Chabot Junior College made his decision.

“Yes I made a verbal pledge to Tennessee,” Harris told InsideTennessee.com recently. “I’m very excited about playing for the Volunteers. They have assembled a great coaching staff and they have the program headed in the right direction.”

Harris, a 6-foot-5, 300-pound defensive tackle, is expected to contribute early for the Vols.

“They are telling me that they need me to come in right away to help out on the defensive front,” Harris said. “I really like Coach Orgeron a lot; he is one of the best in the business.”

Harris played defensive tackle for Chabot in 2008 and he said the quickness he has for a man his size and his motor are what set him apart.

"I'm strong and I'm quick," Harris said. "The coaches said they like my motor and how I'm always going and I never quit."

Harris hasn't maxed out on any of his lifts recently, but he did manage to post a hand-timed 4.9 40 time at 295 recently.

Question 2: Junior college targets for Vols? (DT Carmon, DE Dorsey offered, a couple more DTs have expressed interest, other positions?)

Answer: Patrick Harris is a defensive tackle from Chabot Junior College. He is a 6-foot-5, 300-pound defensive tackle that appears to be on the Vols radar. There will be several others appear over the next couple of weeks with all the coaches on the road. Ed Orgeron and Frank Wilson have great connections with the Mississippi Junior College coaches. This should be interesting.

Posted this in Mike Edwards thread on main forum maybe a week ago. Kid got kicked out of catholic powerhouse St. Edwards. Everyobdy knew he was all Glenville after that. Wasn't months and months of rumors though. Maybe like one month.
