Some of the state parks that were going to remain "Pristine Forever" are now condo communities. FL is the land of sell your soul to make a buck. The dude with the house should have made an agreement with the condo peeps that they would give him a unit the same size as his house with the same view on the 3rd or 4th floor in exchange.

Sure, I agree that would have been the sensible thing to do.

I’m not him, so I’m not deciding what he should have done. I just admire people who don’t go down without a fight.

How is it possible for everything holding a lawnmower wheel on to fall off in perfect order? I started cutting, made the first turn, and my front tire fell off🤣. I cut it off, and behind me in order was the cap, washers, lock washer, and moon clip. I'm sincerely bumfazzled

The laws of Jenny. No explaining it. It happens. My air conditioning went out in my car at the first of the month. Right before I drove to Kingsport, twice. This is the third car I’ve owned thats done that. 🙄

We get a lot more cars than I would've thought at the shop with the air quitting.

I have my trusty can o’ air and connection line to goose my elderly car proud beauty each summer. There’s a leak in there, but not worth repairing.

It’s a high-mileage (234,6xx miles) Honda thang.

When they called to tell me what it would take to fix it. I told them, thanks, but no. I’ll pay for the labor and I’m picking it up tomorrow. After I hung up, not a minute went by, the owner called and said there’s been a mistake, over two hundred dollars worth of mistake. It would be fixed by tomorrow evening for the price I got out of them 😁.

Unfortunately, most foreign vehicles cost a lot to work on.

Yep, but there’s only like 5 quintillion* Honda Accords out there on the roads. Our local Honda Guys (NOT the dealer) do great work for reasonable prices. Screwing around with A/C leaks are usually pretty pricey, no matter the make and model…. Ok, phone decided to post all by its very own self

*5 quintillion +/- a million or so

Actually I don't remember. It could have been a conversation in that thread, but I think it was a new thread. It's aggravating on 2 levels. One, it got deleted and 2 ....I CRS.

It could be argued that Joe's height is an actual handicap. He can't reach the top shelf at the store. Probably has to stand on his counters at home to reach the upper cabinets. Stop picking on him.
