Rank the 5 best coaches in the SEC

And you are conveniently ignoring the fact they played (along with MS and Vanderbilt) #1 Florida, #2 Alabama, a South Carolina team that dismantled Clemson, and TN in OT. I guess its just opinions but I don't see many coaches doing any better with Kentucky level talent in the SEC.

I'm not ignoring it; I'm recognizing it. When it comes to conference games, he is consistently playing teams that are better than his. Year after year, conference after conference.

After 7 years, whose fault is it that he is perennially looking up at South Carolina?

I'm sorry but you forced me to do this. I'm using my mind powers on you now, you will comply.

Chizik is the 3rd best coach in the sec like it or not and he sure as hell is the cutest coach in the sec. Lane is next cute wise but hes got a baby face. Chiz is a man.. Lane is a boy
Chizik is 14 years older than Lane and way too old for my liking but if he turns you on then you go girl! :good!: :)

Come on girl, If Chiz looked your way, your tongue would be wagging. Dont give me that crap. I dont think you have to worry about that though.

To be fair. I dont remember many because we dont seem to get many that are that egregious. I honestly dont remember any "important" games that BAD calls have went our way.

I do, to be fair and all. Bama this year I think in the 3rd quarter. No call on obvious pass interference in the endzone on Julio...def probably wouldve been a TD.

And the terrible roughing the passer call, admit it, that was bogus.

Pick 6 by Mayo turns into a field goal by Florida after that sorry-ass call.
If not for a phantom block in the back call on James' punt return, UF has an additional 7 and there is no roughing the passer call, because that happened on that drive that should have never happened.

kiffin
johnson
saban
brooks
chizik
Based solely on coaching and NOT the players they have to work with.

I think people are underestimating Auburn's talent a little. The team averaged an 11-2 record from 2004-2007 and had an abysmal year when the new coordinator came in and tried to implement an entirely new offensive system. It isn't like everyone on the team sucked.

Johnson and Chizik on that list=joke.

I don't think Johnson is a joke, just think if Vandy would lower there academic standards and recruit better players and have gotten some depth, which they need badly, they are well coached,in position to make plays, they are just lacking athletes, but that is just my opinion

You are conveniently ignoring the fact that he wins 2.3 conference games every year with a schedule that includes Mississippi St. and Vanderbilt annually. His regular season numbers are simply due to very, very soft scheduling.

In 25 years in the PAC10 and SEC combined, he has had one good conference record, 7-1 in '94. In contrast, he has had 17 in which he won 3 or less conference games. In his best seasons at UK, his last 4, he has gone 4-4, 3-5, 2-6, 3-5.

Don't let wins over Idaho St and Louisiana-Monroe, or once in a generation victories over mediocre UGa or Auburn teams, or crappy bowl victories over East Carolina or 1/2 of Florida St fool you; against decent competition, Kentucky sucks. The conference record shows that, and after his 7th year, I think that shows a lot about their coach.

Not that poorly coached - talent is miles behind the rest of the SEC - except Vandy. If you include recruiting as part of coaching then yes poor coaching. Excluding recruiting, then I would say they have done a good job with the talent that they didn't have.
