Ready to be called a Negavol, but here's a real question

I'll be at the bowl game. Some of you douche bags should join us.

Already have my SEC Championship tickets reserved. Once I figure out where the NC game is being played, I'll reserve some tickets for that one too. We're goin' all the way this year!

I always love this argument. You can still be supportive of something and at the same time be objective about it. They don't go hand in hand.

Next time someone tells you that you have their full support then proceeds to tell you how your situation is hopeless, that you lack the ability to accomplish anything good, and they'll be surprised if you aren't the worst among your peers when it is all over... remember what you said above.

You do know that when you talk to the TV, the players can't hear you, right?

please quit. This will be the 10th time around the track with this debate. It's done. It's been done. This is the Friday night short track special that has to end under green and just keeps going until every car is wrecked beyond repair.

Not sure what you expected when you started the thread.

Its unfortunate that rationality is a lost concept for so much of this board.

If that's true, then why do they always look in the camera? They must be able to hear me!

All these threads bashing on people for expecting losses at Oregon, against UF, against UGA, etc.

What happens to all of y'all that are expecting we can win these games when this happens:

the Ducks run roughshod over us and we lose by 24

Florida throws at will and beats up 21

Aaron Murray has a field day against our secondary racking up 345 passing yards en route to a 27 point thumping.

Vandy/Auburn/Mizzou/USC- 3 of these four or even 2 of these four just prove to be too much for us to handle and we lose half of these games.

Just curious what happens. Replying with "won't happen, Butch gets it" doesn't count. I want to know how things will go if the above happens. A bad loss to Oregon, a bad loss to Florida, a bad loss to Florida and tough losses to two of the four mentioned last.

your not a vols fan... goto bama

Butch does get it.....there is no doubt.....he has not put any expectations on the season....the difference between this season and the previous seasons is attitude, the fans and players are buying into CBJ's process. Although we may end up 5-7 or 6-6 or 7-5 or 8-4 it really doesn't matter because change is happening and it is for the better. We will be competitive this season and although we may fall short this season we will eventually rise back to prominence in the Sec...

Butch Jones is a winner and he will get the job done over a period of time.....

Because tof 6 years of failure and incompetence we have fallen far below SEC standards. It's always going to something with fans and expectations.....scheduling, injuries or bad calls or any excuse that justifies a loss...you can't change that with fans and imploding over a losses ...... just remember leaders don't make excuses they deal with them one at a time....

What I don't get is why be a negative Nostradamus, I understand your reality check for us but why go doubting Thomas and be the guy that states on 20 August I predicted this would happen....why even start a thread about it, there are plenty of threats for you to inject your possibility of reality into this seasons equation....

I feel for our players because for some it will be the first time in 4 or 5 years that they will have a real coach leading them....

I wouldn't say I'm expecting to beat any of the teams you mentioned. I am wanting to see how hard this team fights for 4 quarters...regardless of the score. Basically, I don't want to see the meltdown that was the Vandy game last year. The new coaching staff has created a lot of excitement and I can't wait for kickoff. GBO

I only want two things this year.

1) Competitiveness

2) I want these Seniors that have had to go through so much garbage to have a moment that they can talk about for the next 50 years.

Stopped reading the thread right here. This is my attitude exactly however I do have a couple buckets of light bulbs on standby for the start of the season.

Ahhh. the good ole Fulmer days, when the other SEC coaches were at high school level. Tn. had Cutcliff to run the offense and Chavis to run the defense. All Fulmer had to do was choose the donut-of-the-day.
Hell, my five year old grandaughter could have guided the Vols to 10 wins back in those days.

As for this season, just know this. Saban is whining about the hurryup offense for a reason, and Butch is bringing his special "hurryup hell" to the SEC.

I'm sayin 8-4 + a bowl. That's me being a pessimist.:)

I like that.
