I don't see us beating Mizzou at their place. I have a feeling they are gonna be a team that upsets a team or two next year and could surprise the east. I hope the vols win 8-9 wins but realistically, I don't see it.

For one Bray shut it down numerous times last year. The fact Vandy let off the gas in the early 4th speaks volumes. Coulda beat us by two more touchdowns.

Its absolutely absurd to suggest Tyler Bray purposely didnt play well against Vandy because he wanted Dooley to get fired......just ridiculous.

I'm praying for 7 wins outta this bunch. No statement wins for Butch next year, but maybe one the following year. Unless his recruiting is crappy.

7 with on against USCw or Ga. Looking for better second half adjustments, although that can't be too hard considering CDD failed miserably at it.

I think the secondary could be the dark horse of the defense. I don't think they could get any worse from last year and i think the have the Most potential., IMO. If Mcneil continues to impress, if bonner (if CBJ keeps him) turns out to be a stud like some on here say, and if Randolph comes back ready to play i think this part of the D could turn some heads.

As long as we beat the teams we should...Austin Peay, WKU, Vandy, Kentucky....and would love to see us beat one or two at least decent SEC teams. 8-5

I think you have 4 easy wins with Vandy and Mizzu as possible as well. 2 bye weeks help. 7 wins is good.

No, but Bray would give us a shot to beat UGA. If he stays, gives UT a game.

With the team and personnel left, we will have most of the defense and OLine back and upgraded the Coaching Staff.

WRs & TE will be the biggest losses. Rest of the team will be okay, if not better than last year.

These games will be tough...
Bama
UGA
USC
Oregon

These games will be wins, but competitive
Mizzou
Vandy

The rest will be wins.

New coaches at every position but one, loss of quarterback and best three receivers, and a tough schedule will result in disappointment to most on Volnation. Anything above 5-7 and I will be okay.

I would be understanding of that but wished we could make it to at least a toilet bowl.

Maybe we get lucky and beat SC or UGA and get 8 wins at best but I def hope for wins against Vandy, Mizzou, Uk, Auburn and the low level teams we face.

My minimum expectations for 2013 are:


(1) I would like for us to post a winning record.

(2) Actually win a bowl game.

(3) Win the close games. * See 2012, UGA, Florida, MIss State, USC, Missouri*



I would get a smile on my face, if at some point in the season, we were to be ranked in the top #25. Even for a week.

7-5 looks possible but hey i would take 1-11 if we beat bammer in bammer. honestly id be happy with 7-6
