That's 21 points in long pass TDs that Milton delivered but never showed up on the scoreboard, between DPI and dropped passes. This is with almost 4 minutes left in the first half.

Sadly, RamKey lost any hope that he’d go pro this year… had a good year last year, regressed with a bunch of TD drops this year

Its not about being right or wrong. Whether you fixate on the reasons it could be a win or a loss, it's important to consider the reasons for both outcomes instead of singling out one possibility.

We are most likely a 9-3 team now, but could easily be 10-2 or 11-1 and we don't need a lot of crazy stuff to happen to get there. We need everyone to play the same way they have for both teams and Milton & the WRs to get their crap together.

I think we have a better shot of beating both bama & UGA this year than we did last year, because of how they have played, not how we have. If Joe & the WRs will just be average or slightly better, that's all we need for both games to be very competitive.

Back in Denver after a SWEET weekend in Knoxvegas sitting in my Neyland sec N season tix

Was with one of my best friends who has made bad life decisions, certainly not least among them graduating from Aggie

We had a ball: 11th St. garage tail gating. Vol Walk. Seeing my usual peeps in our usual seats. Neyland so so loud. A very exciting game with a win for the good guys

My two hardly-going-to-get-me-a-show-on-ESPN takes: 1) defense is beast mode, and 2) Milton just ain't meant to be a college football hero

Both honestly surprise me. But 239 rushing yards against SEC #1 rushing DEF can overcome a lot of warts

Will be back in town for Georgia. Come see me at my same tail gate location if you have no better options. It is a short walk (and mostly downhill)

Ohhh... and one last thing:

I DON'T GIVE A DAMN ABOUT THE WHOLE STATE OF ALABAMA

I think we gotta try and have Joe not throw any picks… just play clean. Dust off some good run plays and the line needs to play like last week. No turnovers and get this thing into the 4th quarter. On defense it’s DO NOT give up the big play. Sound Tackling and contain Milroe as well as getting pressure

Really bad. But did you watch any other college football games on Saturday, especially SEC games?

This level of incompetence is not exclusive to Vol games.

it's not just that they missed this one

they had at least 2 other completely blown textbook PI calls

I'm sure if we went back and looked we'd see a ton of holding on all the WR too to throw off our timing as much as possible

I don't know what the hell is going on

it's turning into basketball. the refs won't blow the whistle for a whole game and then call EVERYTHING ticky tack in the last 4-5 minutes. or they'll call it to keep it as close/competitive as possible for the big games.

The Tennessee stats look more like Bama stats from years when they didn’t have young.

I thought 7...8 tops. I'd be very tempted by 9.5 if it were legal here yet.

Fwiw these last 2 years coming in as 7-10 pt dogs sure as hell beats that decade of coming in as 4 td underdogs with zero hope ugh 😒

And if HH had 1 more year in him, we're probably 10 pt favorites ourselves. At this point we just need both elite sides of the ball in the same year, a mere matter of time 👀
