You know Tennessee as a program and brand are close to being “back” when I’ve seen countless tweets like this last night from Alabama, Florida, and Georgia fan site “reporters” whining about how Heupel is rightfully upset we have gotten zero calls for back to back weeks and honestly the entire year. Alabama had an off-week and Georgia and Florida played their rivalry game yet they’re out here whining about the Vols.

His comment alone shows how dumb he is. No one is arguing about our team’s penalties and we are undisciplined at times. I think we all own that. It’s the fact that Alabama and Kentucky are right there with us as undisciplined and penalized teams. Bama’s weakness was giving up sacks and all of a sudden we can’t get pressure or sacks and there are 0 holds called.

At some point you have to take up for your players but the administration will not let him.

He has done enough that if we had the kind of local media that most other teams enjoy, they would have documented it with video evidence of calls and especially no-calls to the point where it would have been awkward for the national media to ignore the video evidence, in addition to the stats.

The networks and hype people that are called talking heads are complicit in this. They want to sell commercials; they are not there to tell the truth. Especially with respect to something that uncovers rigging beyond the shadow of a doubty in the TV broadcasts they are selling.
