Wife and I do carb cycling. Will probably move to the low-GI (slow carb) paradigm soon. We eat keto 6 days a week, and cycle onto carbs one day a week. This is mostly for our resistance workouts. The cycle onto carbs helps build muscle as straight keto doesn't signal the body to build muscle as well. (I also take in some limited carbs pre-workout on workout days for that same reason.)When I get back from vacation I'm going back to the eat all the meat I want schedule...I lose weight slower, but I don't crave glucose near as much.
I ain't gonna lie...the last few weeks have been rough.
