You still have not comprehended one thing I said about playing poorly. I said if we played well, we lose a closer game. I’m just sick and tired of dealing with the poor officiating because I want things to be fair. When you give what I have given to this program, then you can tell me what to do. You are a piss ant and not worth my time since you have the reading comprehension of a 10 year old and know nothing about football. I’ll let the AD know met boy said to stop giving them money.

Three main takeaways from today:

1) start Nico against Vandy assuming we take our medicine from Georgia. If we somehow miraculously win against Georgia with Joe, it would be pretty crappy to not ride out the Vandy game and bowl game with him. Doubt we will have to deal with that dilemma, though. Sucks for Joe because I think he’s a good dude, but Heup has to do what’s best for the program.

2) Heupel needs to seriously evaluate his defensive staff. Coming into the season, I was done with Willie but was fine with everyone else. Tim Banks is right there with Willie now for me, though. Very bland schematically. Sits back in zone coverage way too often and puts the weight of the world on the DL to wreak havoc. We need to move on from Banks and Willie at the conclusion of the season.

3) Make dang sure Nico is ready both mentally and physically to run the full playbook next season. The offense this season has been disappointing for a few reasons, but Joe’s limitations have certainly handcuffed Heupel and Halzle’s play calling.

I predicted a loss today. Didn’t think it would be a massacre, but it is what it is. Let’s regroup and give the Dawgs a run for their money next week. GBO

Any way you crack it there are holes and uncertainties for the roster going into next season. O line, interior D line and pass rush depth are concerns, as well as TE .

I don't see us taking a step forward next year. Going to be about the same IMO

If Nico is legit I disagree. Qb play is really hindering our explosiveness. He runs way better than Joe. That mitigates any potential OL issues. Should have good backs. WR should be better. D needs a piece or two in the portal for sure. But I wouldn’t write off next year just yet. I think Nico will be dynamic and that will give us a chance in every game.

Agreed.

We are in that spot of a team that is good enough to punch above our weight class if everything is humming, but also vulnerable to decent teams ourselves. We’ll probably be here for a few years but just need to be more consistent

And why is Heupel not losing his crap over it??!!! I would be going ape crap yet he just takes it. I think there is something major going on behind the scenes. Not sure what exactly it is, but I’ve never seen this blatant of bias every single game for the whole year.

This kills Coach Heupel’s offense. His offense requires a QB who will take the open lane, because it draws the Defense into a miss match for later.

Teams have realized that with Milton they do not have to truly worry about any of that. Stop his deep throw and you can beat Tennessee. Especially if you can stop our run game.

That’s simply not true. Every QB Huep has had outside of Hooker is less mobile and a worse runner than Milton. Lock and Gabriel were very reluctant to run especially Gabriel. Mackenzie was about on par with Milton with taking off running

Heupel isn’t on the hotseat, nor should he be. However, this game does raise some major redflags and it is reasonable to start questioning them. 1-10 when trailing at the half, and absolutely 💩’ing the bed in 5 off the last 7 road (Vanderbilt doesnt count) games is not how you win championships. Last year we had a legitimate shot at the CFP and we lost to a mediocre USCjr team. This year we still had a shot at the SEC championship game and we lost 39-7 to an average Missouri team. Idk what needs to change, but if we ever want to go to the SEC Championship game and the CFP, this has to be fixed, and if it’s not then it could put his job in jeopardy down the road.
