Why would they hire Heupel? What has he done that would get them over an Orange bowl win in 2021 over UNC and 8-4 seasons they’re accustomed to?
Because what I stated and he did that with a skeleton roster and coaches that would come to tgis dumpster fire when he was hired.. A&M is loaded with talent and he can hire any coordinators in the country. Heupel would be like Kirby going to UGA.

Jimbo took over a stable program, never won more than 9 games, and they still gave him almost six years.

Heupel took over a steaming dumpster fire, won 11 and beat Bama in his second year, and some fans are already done with him.

🤦🏻‍♂️
We have a tremendous amount of low IQ and zero impulse control fans.

They wanted three years of stability, and they got it. Now it's going to domino, and CJH has been resistant to that. Shuffling staff and promoting from within toes the line between maintaining stability and getting stale. A new DC has to be able to make changes and bring a fresh perspective. And the existing staff has to be open to that. Just need to be sure it's productive change, not change for the sake of change.
Honestly, I feel like the only coach I'd just hate to lose on defense is Garner.

Could he even keep recruiting at that level? It’s a fair question. He’s already lost to a few teams with even or lesser talent

i use to feel this way but now i realize how hard it is to win any game….. As long as we are growing…. we don’t need to get too over the top with our complaints…. There are obviously things that need to be gives and hopefully Heup can keep growing this program.
Does it feel like we’re growing?

Since the Aggies haven’t won much of anything since the 1930’s shouldn’t they just keep Jimbo? Shouldn’t 8-4 be enough? What are they thinking??? LOL. Blue font.
Jimbo Fisher doesn’t have a 11 win season. Best year was Covid year, which was fluky.

He took over a program that had won at least 8 games in 5 of 6 years before, including 11 wins in 2012. If you believe the two are comparable, no one can help you.

CFB is high-stakes, and aTm wants to be a player. A school that invests the resources to field an elite team expects an elite team. The top programs and those that want to be are all-in.
Are you saying they don’t think 8-4 is a good season?

Sure… went 9-1 with an orange bowl win.
9-1 with an all sec schedule is better than 11-2 with 8 sec games

Are we all-in? Because it doesn’t feel like it.
Well, the admin is all-in. When the AD calls in the HCs of the marquee programs and asks what resources they need to win championships, then the President approves allocation of those resources, the university is ponying up. The HCs help create the expectations, and they have the internal support they need. You just have to push the rock.
