FSU beat Nebraska in the Orange Bowl, in a #1 vs #2 matchup. FSU did finish ahead/won national title of/over Notre Dame, who beat them earlier in the season. ND finished season at #2.

Not just about one recruit but what once seemed a very promising/likely top 5-8 class turned into an average (for Tennessee) class in the home stretch.

That isn't enough to get you over the hump. I like this class, had some strong recruits and good depth. But we are still waiting on the class, or stack of classes that will have us competing for the conference.

DL 3* - D'Nas White, 88 (FSU seems favorite, but RG is a great closer)
Edge 4* - Jayshawn Ross, 90 (Missouri native, but we're only SEC school he's Warm on)
CB 3* - Kumaro Brown, 87 (Memphis kid and looks like he's waiting on the greenlight from us)
OT 3* - Cam'Ron Warren, 88 (Seaton off the board do we go after him hard or portal shop?)

Yeah, 100% out on Kellie Harper... it's year 5, you've brought in plenty of portal talent with NIL based on a brand you're slowly killing. You've turned over the roster and have even replaced coaches...

She just doesn't have it I get why she was hired when it happened, but man the Lady Vols brand shouldn't be okay with a sub 60% winning percentage regardless of her ties to Pat.

Just an opinion. OL prospects and sometimes DL prospects are hardest to project. I liked Warren better than Seaton before today's idiocy. Talked about academics, parents were involved in looking at the University and not the Check. More than likely that translates to better coachabliity and work ethic. I think moving forward you will see a few OL guys signed out of high school with more and more coming from the portal. Also, a kid who is a Blue Chip out of HS (Hardy) and a kid who is a project out of high school will sort themselves out after a couple of years in college. Seaton may end up making the NFL Hall of Fame, but if I had to guess, UNLESS something changes he will be an afterthought in a couple of years.
