Youre way overrrating JJJ, and DK isnt that guy. Hes good, but he gets it ripped in traffic way too easily to be that guy. Bigs arent consistent enough, and the bench with all our depth has been a disappointment.

Dont do this to yourself, this team is better, buts its not it.

You’re absolutely ridiculous. DK not that guy??? Because he had 2 bad games after rolling his ankle??? He dominated North Carolina and Illinois games that mattered.

And JJJ is averaging 12 PPG and 7 rebounds and has been our all-around best player this year. Sheesh.

Dont care about James.

DK some good defensive coach will scheme up a good gap defense and rip him all game. He struggles way too much dribbling in traffic, and is the only guy that can create for himself and get to the rim.

Go watch Kansas and Purdue they both consistently ripped him on the drive.

When healthy Josiah is a stat sheet stuffer...

But very inconsistent, which has been a consistent problem his entire career here.

If vescovi can start knocking down his shot, This team becomes really dangerous.

Michigan is 14th in talent composite rankings for 2023.

Washington 26th in the talent composite rankings for 2023.
I think we'll start seeing more teams like this in the playoff. You have to have the talent to survive your division/conference, but if you get in and you have a difference maker at QB, you can go far. We see the same thing in March.

no, i don't think that's the case at all. i think it's just a very good sign that the whole attitude toward this program has changed. expectations are different, and if you're winning 9 games on the regular in the SEC....you're alot closer to winning it than you are when you're only winning 4 or 5.

so being engaged enough to see what pieces are needed to get closer to where we want to be is actually a sign of how far the program has come, in just 3 seasons with the staff.

going in to a little more detail, i think what has most people, rightfully so, riled up about the O line at all is the overall depth isn't there, and the pass protection isn't good enough. to a man, i think everyone agrees this OL has been very good in the run game.

as for the defense, i think the best way to put it is that our defense DOMINATED what most suspected to be a bad offense. so in essence, they did what they should do, and then some, against a bad offense. no shame in that. they played well. it doesn't mean they're ready to line up against michael penix and Washington's offense and be "great".

i think part of the problem around here is that people forget more than one thing can be true at the same time..............................
I know everyone just wants us to win. I just hope everyone can appreciate how far we have come against great odds.

Yeah he definitely does, proud of his progress. Yeah once everyone see that break out they are gonna be amazed at a 6'2 220lbs running that fast to the house!!!
He's a pro for sure. Very exciting to think about him getting another spring practice, offseason, and fall camp under his belt. He's going to be a freak of nature come Labor Day.
