Ok here's one for you.
UCONN.... they don't pull in a ton of 5 stars. They've had 3 different coaches make runs this decade.

But then that begs the question if Barnes as good as people act like he is, why can't he get those guys?

So you are saying Rick Barnes is underperforming with talent, AND also not getting any talent.

Damn. It's a wonder we win any games at all...

*Me and my sons played Monday afternoon. We have the plastic bucket style sleds and they're ok and fairly safe. I remembered I had bought an innertube style ring a few years back and we got it out. It was a lot faster and less controllable. Once we got the track packed, I managed to get out of the groove and hit the house at what felt like 20 MPH. The boys said I looked like Wile E Coyote when he swings into a cliff. I left a horizontal mark on the hardieplank 3' above the ground level. They said it looked like I hung on the house for about 2 seconds and they could have drawn a chalk outline around me. Somehow, I got "roadrash" through 3 layers of clothing and a bruise from my shoulder to my forearm (it's finally clearing up). Then my oldest son jumped on the innertube did a "reverse Gumby" move around the corner of the house and smashed our downspout. It really went downhill when we started trying to "redirect" each other away from the house. It was a great time but it hurt

If any HC is underperforming it's Kellie..

Kellie is a former Lady Vol that has some fans but she gets bashed all the time…We do need to move on from her.

I know many people who are unhappy with her and ready to cut the cord. I haven’t heard many people worshiping her outside of appreciating her playing career.

Knecht is the top pro prospect in the SEC and one of the top 10 in the nation. He specifically chose Barnes. We do not get Duke-level talent because we are not a Basketball school.

If you want a Barnes assistan, I think English is the guy.

If you go away from that tree though, I'm not sure. But DW has been solid so far, so I'll trust HIM until he gives me a reason not to.

We have one of the biggest areanas in CBB, 2e have been to #1 multiple times. Several coaches have taken us to the second weekend in March.
Yes, basketball might not be our #1 but pretending we can't play with the Elite in that sport is silly.

My favorite NBA player dropped 70 last night.

The crazy thing is that he only attempted 2 3s. I think this 70 point night is just as (if not more) impressive as Kobe’s 81 because he hit 7 3s.

This also makes what Wilt Chamberlain did even more unbelievable.

The moment you compare a coach in a sport to your all-time great list, the debate is kind of over. Is he an all-time top 5 or ten coach? Maybe not, but there are five to ten guys, so it is a stupid debate. Also, how many schools have General Neyland and John Wooden in their histories? Duke is a basketball school, and they should have a top-ten coach. UT is a football school. To have a Barnes-caliber guy and a Vitello-caliber guy at a football school is a testament to what UT is putting together. It is nothing short of amazing, and people should soak it in more.

Just to be clear…nobody wanted Barnes because they thought the game had passed him up..he kinda fell in our lap luckily..but yes turned out to be amazing hires considering where both sports were

Amsler May have been the toughest, meanest and best FB we’ve ever had. That dude with the ball in his hands on a swing out pass was going to truck a couple of defenders. Huge motor and good speed.
