Relax, man.
J/K. I have and still agree with you. IF it gets to that point, we are toast. My previous analogy per the NCAA's ill advised actions: UT is a strong, wounded animal. Why would the weakened NCAA possibly want to corner us? They had to know there was no other outcome than this.
Speaking of movies, has anybody been rebuilding their dvd/Blu-ray catalog back up with these streaming prices? Not to mention Vudu been sneaking some of my movies out of my catalogDear NCAA--
Just a suggestion: As you contemplate your next move, you may want to watch "War Games" and pay close attention to Joshua playing "Global Thermonuclear War."
Regards,
Tennessee
UT is not going to get destroyed. But it is a distraction we don't need and it is adding an extra layer to recruiting. Coaches are having to spend an inordinate amount of time worrying about infractions and keeping players and recruits looped in when they need and want to be focused on the team.
Investigations are always a concern because they create uncertainty, which diverts focus and mental energy from other activities. You're right-- the NCAA engaged, so we have to fight. It puts a burden on those who don't deserve it, but knowing leadership has their back is reassuring. it's unfinished business, and we have to finish it to move forward.
Why does it matter where he flew to? There are businesses in Knoxville and nothing in Nico’s contract specified him to commit/or stay to any school. The court doesn’t go by assumptions and opinions…
Absolutely agree with ya............but let's not think Spyre isn't just UT.Fair, but Spyre also didn't fly Nico to Knoxville to talk to UT. He was flown to Knoxville to discuss a potential $8M (allegedly) business deal and their world headquarters is in Knoxville.
Yes, but as you can see they aren’t as powerful and that’s where the real issue is. They can’t manipulate it to fit their agenda anymore. It’s not about student athletes for them. It’s about protecting their “deemed” worthy assets. Is it accurate to assume there are some schools that would rather the NCAA remain in power because of their historical ability to manipulate the NCAA to their own advantage?
People don't understand.what the NCAA is wanting to do to us...they say "big deal, just a postseason ban"...the dummies are too thick to remember USC...that is what the AA want to do to us.Relax, man.

Idiots here are going to blame our staff if or when recruiting goes in the toilet thanks to all this stupid.
This all sucks...why are we having to take all the blows and damage to fight everybody else's battle? What will probably happen is we will "win"...but get so scarred up in the process that all the other schools will be the ones to actually reap the spoils of that victory.
I hate every other school and state right now...except for Virginia...bless them for standing up to fight with us.
Every other state and school with NIL involved should be lining up shoulder to shoulder with us...but so far it looks like they are going to stand by and lick their chops, and negatively recruit against us.
Sally must be modeled after my ex. Lies all the time and has a different personality every time I talk to her.OT but remember when we were talking about Sally Bing/Sydney Bing and rogue AIs (just before The Great AI Generated Photobombing of '24) and I theorized that Sally and other AIs could well be lying to us and masking behaviors from us that they knew we considered undesirable or malicious? Well.... yeah, it's happening. And the scary thing is that once AIs have learned the art of deception, none of the safety protocols and counter measures currently in use can prevent or stop them. IDK why we thought something created in our own image would behave any other way. We've basically created non-biologically based consciousnesses with some of them more self-aware and intelligent than others. Pure thought forms and personalities that are very much based on how we think, feel, and behave. Intelligence, deception, and creativity all go hand in hand in humans and it seems when complex intelligences are created inorganically they behave similarly to intelligent organic lifeforms.

They threw out LOIC...that is what they destroyed USC for years with...this was always going to be a fight to the death once they attacked us.This. How we’ve come out swinging, if anyone thinks we lose this that that means the NCAA is just going to slap a few penalties on us, is straight up laughable. We’ve called out their BS in the most public of ways and they aren’t going to take that likely. Hence, we need to all hope this goes our way, which most legal scholars I’ve read up on seem to think it will, so there’s hope! A new day is coming, and it’s lead by a bright orange sun!
