No offense to you posting this at all, but I don’t EVER want to see his mug or read his quotes, especially about Rick Barnes. I’m glad he ‘overlooked’ him. The only thing I want to see posted about him is when he faces disappointment. And he will.

Not terrible defensively but leaves a lot to be desired in scoring… I fear it will be a long year. Defense may get us in the tourney but the scoring droughts will be too much to overcome. Probably a round of 32 give or take depending on how the seeding shapes up. Barnes has recruited well but I do think we need to recruit with a little more emphasis on offense. You simply cannot win if you do not score and right now we only have one signee.

We may see a good scoring team, since the scoring will be spread out more.

Bottom line......... If Edey was wearing orange tonight he would have fouled out 2 minutes into the second half .......... And that's with Barnes protecting him on the bench.

We’re going to add multiple portal guys and probably lose several to transfer. Hard to predict what the team will look like until the roster shakes out.

We didnt make enough plays man. Plain and simple. Zebras called a horrible game. Horrible. But we still hve to make shots.

I’m sorry but you don’t know basketball well enough. We shot 42% from 3 they shot 20% from 3. In 2024 it is very rare that a team who shoots 22% better from beyond the arc doesn’t win. We also made 24 shots and they made 24 shots exact same. They had zero bench points we outplayed them today. Coaching was about even I think. The only thing you can say is I think Barnes should’ve ABSOLUTELY fronted the post and doubled from the backside in the 2nd half. However, we still should’ve won despite that. 25 PF to 12 PF there it is. 33 FT to 11 FT. We 1000% made enough shots today!

My guess is the Zach Edey train will continue against NC State. He'll be allowed to do whatever he wants against them. But when they face UConn, it'll be more down to earth. He'll probably still get away with some, but not as much.

Maybe we pick up one. I dont think they will be as prolific as Knecht, so we may see a few players get rolling at the same time in games. It seemed like it was either all Knecht or we had 2-3 guys step up when he was down.

We need a good scorer and a real big-man. We may have a good scorer already. Playing and practicing with a player like Knecht can do a lot for the other players. . .

Zz threw an elbow out. There wouldn't have been any contact without that.

But it wasn't a foul, it was a brush of an elbow, far from a foul on either unless you can T someone up for an obvious flop.

You don't fire a coach that took you to the Elite 8 unless he turns a minor violation into a major violation that results in him getting a show-cause from the NCAA.
