I think our starting 5 OL will be solid with Heard-Lampley-Mays-Spraggins-Campell, but who do we have to replace them if one gets hurt? Because some of them do have injury problems. Ik Davis and Karic are options, but who else?

Those would be our best current top seven. I’d love to see us add another thru the portal.

I don't feel super comfortable about LG, but I think Lampley and Karic are servicable. The other will backup both G positions I'd assume. Davis can probably backup any position on the line tbh. Lang is the assumed backup at C.

Larry Johnson might get some time at tackle. Aside from that, hopefully one of the freshmen shine. The sophomores (aside from Lang) haven't seemed to impress anyone iirc.

Have a hard time believing that. With this S&C program. Cmon. Its about effort and work.
Pearce was the same size when he came in and I'd be suprised if he were over 240 now. Josephs looks even smaller than Pearce.

I think a pass rusher can play at 220 due to the speed advantage, but they're a liability in Run D. That's the risk I suppose.

Is it me or is the CWS setting up to be one of the weaker group of 8 teams in recent memory? Assuming 1-4 ranked teams make CWS, Kentucky didn’t show well in SEC tourni, A&M has cooled down a bit from earlier in the season, and many of the traditional powerhouse programs are out. Also doesn’t seem to be the one “hot” team, both of which set up well for the Vols if they play consistent…
You don't see the 1 hot team, because it's your team. Tennessee is the hot team.

I can already see how the upcoming movie ends. It’s the players getting on the bus cracking jokes and reminiscing as the screen slowly fades to black.

Then part II comes out. . .on the road trip, they devise a plan to start a fake college when they get back so they can keep playing. . . a cross between the movies "Road Trip", "Accepted" & the Bishop-Sycamore saga. Next year they win the title before anyone knows their college isn't even real.

Apparently the Evansville ace (no pun) pitcher is a lefty. That would be their best chance to pull one out on us. Our guys do well against lefties overall, but I think several losses have come against lefties.
Their number 2 is a lefty as well.

No.1 is lefty freshman Kenton Deverman. Deverman is 9-1 with a 3.81 ERA in 106.1 IP. 81 Ks, 20 BBs.

— No. 2 starter is senior lefty Donovan Schultz. He’s 5-2 with a 5.84 ERA in 89.1 IP. 72 Ks, 32 BBs.
