All tj surgeries are not created equal. Sometimes they're just doing very minor repairs or maintenance, and the recovery time is quicker. Same with all ortho surgeries, there's a broad spectrum of severity and the recovery times correspond to where that particular person falls on it.
I’m aware…. I have a son that is pitching…!I have studied trying to figure out hot how to strengthen the arm…. arm care and things like that….. I feel that ten to 15 years ago that would be accurate… Guys put so much torque on their arms now that i don’t think 8 months is long enough…. I hope he stays healthy when he comes back…. For those that don’t know… I’m just having baseball convo… nothing serious enough to make anyone get into their feelings. @Glitch

Could be Antuan. I have no idea who he saw.
But Antuan was at DB from 1995-1998. He graduated in 1998. He Sr season was 1998. He would not have considered himself a sophomore back in ‘95 - none of us did.

That guide must be counting the ‘95-‘96 season as 1995

I would assume the fall of 1995 was when all the games were played.

94-95 = Grade 9 (Freshmen)
95-96 = Grade 10
96-97 = Grade 11
97-98 = Grade 12 (May 1998 would have graduated)

That would line up with Gaines being a FR at UT in Fall of 1998 too when the Vols 1998-99 season ended in a Natty.

Yes, Teddy graduated from DB in the summer of ‘98 - his Sr season.

Does @Mrpeabody8888 know anything, or just another troll, or wannabe? Have never really paid much attention....noticed him/her all over the player threads today, making bold predictions. Should I pay attention?
He could just be guessing, but he seems to have some sort of information pipeline.

I think docs are doing TJ different now, which cuts the recovery in half. Used to use ligament from elsewhere. Now they’re using a manufactured brace that’s anchored to bone in the elbow. Read about it after Strider tore his for the second time. But I dunno.
