In my opinion UGA’s offense will not be as strong as long as Bobo is OC. Losing Monken was a big loss, but UGA also lost Buster Faulkner who was Monken’s right hand man. Faulkner is now OC at GaTech. Bobo last year had the carry over from Monken and Faulkner. Losing Bower and Ladd is also huge. They are beatable

I think a particular tight end not being there makes the biggest difference by far for UGAly.

This is where i've been at for some time. It hasn't been affordable to go to Tennessee games in a long time. The game tickets aren't the problem. And the hotels will increase their prices as well now that they see the fans will pay more to go to games. But that increase will not be going to players.

The 3rd party prices with Ticketmaster or Stub Hub is the issue with ticket prices. Greed on some of those prices.
With that saying, I still pay the price. My wife and I enjoy going to the games. I just drive the 2 hrs back home.

Now add the ticketmaster or stubbing fees.
Now add gas or plane ticket
Now add hotel cost
Now add multiple meals out to eat.

Not affordable at all.

I understand, if this was 5 years ago and UT was losing every season the narrative would be a little different. Everyone would be asking why are we not paying the players or something to that affect.

I fully grasp where college athletics, primarily football, is going so I get the increases. I’m old school so I don’t necessarily agree with it but I’ve known the direction this is headed. It’s unfortunate for anyone, particularly families, that used to be able to go to games for a fair price but have other financial obligations/priorities that are more important than a college football game. For those folks, going to games isn’t a viable option. Again, I see the other side of the coin but it sucks for those that don’t have money to just throw at college sports.

This is where I am. Family of five, and I can’t afford to drop that kind of money to see a descent game. Honestly, I’m not really interested in paying anything to see what we saw this last Saturday.

Which is my point!!! NIL hasn’t gotten us ahead of any team!! The coach is what helped.

If you think we land Nico and all these other top QBs and recruits without NIL, then you're crazy. If you want to be elite, then you need a great NIL set-up and great coaching...and the great coaching isn't sticking around if the NIL isn't there. It goes hand-in-hand. We're still ascending and Danny White isn't letting us fall behind anyone on NIL because the roster can be gutted in an instant. If you can't afford to go to as many games as you want, then just watch the Vols keep winning from your couch. I haven't seen Danny White screw up yet...so I'm behind whatever he wants to do as long as we keep winning. If you don't want to pay the extra fee, then someone else will...and everyone will still get to enjoy the Vols being good again.

We are now first for the collective system and revenue sharing. Tell me how much has it really helped? The same teams round out the top 10, and we usually finish 10-13.

So essentially, they want us to pay more for the same recruiting results.

Like you, and others have said the big programs will follow suit, so we really don’t have any major advantage over those teams….again.

Should have waited till we made a playoff run (results) and no one would be complaining about this.

Which has been my argument against NIL. The money should come from the schools and not be used as another price gouging tool.

Where do you think the schools get their money? It is all coming from the fans. Do you believe inflation is due to price gouging?

I’m a BEARS fan who’s perfectly fine with our current QB situation…especially considering our history. Rookies make mistakes…tons. It’s when they repeat them and project defeat in their body language that starts the clock for me. We have a win and a six point loss to a loaded playoff team. Why would I panic?

We could win the next 3 games.

5 years ago if an elite program charged a “talent fee” and we didn’t we’d be crying that’s why we weren’t elite and that we need to step up like bama, uga ect. I’m fine with it, we are good and we are making changes to continue that success

Not only that but people can't whine about booing players anymore either. Those booing are literally paying their contracts.

We've always been paying players and the fans have always done the paying.
