There is no artificial, there is no price gouging. It is the market that dictates price pure and simple, the cost of business has gone up. It boggles the mind how many can't understand basic economics. Every team is raising prices, this 10% talent fee is a marketing gimmick that is all. Alabubba, Jawga, Blowhio, are all raising ticket prices but they are not making a reason public. Tennessee is trying to make the increase more palatable buy giving a reason.A lot of posts on the 10% upcharge.
Imo as DW, it's perfect timing. We're firing on all cylinders. Wouldn't fly other times.
That said, look at the coaches and admin first. Based on revenues, they don't deserve their levels of compensation. They've been artificially inflated for decades DUE TO not having to pay players. It was always BS. Just like nurses...it isn't about how hard you work or your contribution to society...in capitalism it's about your market worth. And theirs is artificial...
I like the fact that our other coaches in football, basketball (both men’s and women’s) seem to be taking it as a challenge to get a national championship in their sports as well.Tony V is going to win multiple championships here. He's the Goat
I think Tennessee wins this game by 10+ if they can do these 3 things. We are good at most everything. They are hardly good at anything. We come in focused and ready to handle biness... we will handle that biness.
I like watching Bull at Blue-chip Breakdown. He may not be the best, but he's pretty good, a likeable dude and a huge Vols fan as well.@Enki_Amenra you post a lot of video analyses every week. Which one would you say is the best if I only wanted to watch one a week?
I don't think we can, especially when putting so much in the laps of the fans. It’s a marketing ploy and excuse to drive more revenue. It’s genius. And with us selling out season tickets, they have no reason not to take advantage.
But hey we can always go back to the Dooley/butch/cornbread years.
We also don't have Herring on contain this year. It will be Carter, Perry, Pili, Telander, Josephs, Pierce, et alIt’s every defense’s kryptonite*. Arnold is a good runner and he will probably keep several plays alive this weekend. This defense faced Milroe (who is a better runner IMO) last year and contained him pretty well.
I think Faulkner is great and going places, and Monken is as good as it gets. I wish both of them were still at UGA. But I also think hating Bobo is profoundly mistaken. All the guy does is produce consistently productive offenses. He sets up plays as well as anybody and is a savant at beating zone defense.I agree. Great observation about Faulkner. That offense gave Haynes king a second life.
