I believe there are some defenses that play it better than others. Those Missouri defenses of recent memory come to mind, playing sound fundamental defense, Georgia, and even Clemson during their run. It’s every defense’s kryptonite*. Arnold is a good runner and he will probably keep several plays alive this weekend. This defense faced Milroe (who is a better runner IMO) last year and contained him pretty well.
But you're right, Oklahoma isn't a flaccid object, rolling over to expose their belly. This a legitimate SEC team, with an SEC defense - as the stats show. They will have equally talented players, with equal game prep.
Our 6'4, 6'5", 6'3" WR's will have to actually use that size to physically maul their opponent. TE's the same. Our 38 mph receiver will need to actually run past opposing defenders.
I think their offense will play well, at least for two quarters. Those saying the depth will play in, are likely correct.
I think Oklahoma scores 21.
But TN pulls away, in third to end up at 71.
Vols by fiddy! Y'all just thought this was BVS!
