The real hidden purpose of this offense is to force the defense to show their hand early because they don’t have time to disguise the coverage. There has really only been one defense that has been able to contain Heup's offense since he got here, and that is gerja. I know Vegetables is a good defensive coach, and that video talked about how Lebby was at OU for a minute so they know a little about the type of offense that is coming to town tomorrow. Lebby is not Heup and their offenses are not the same. Operating with tempo does not make the two offenses the same. Heup has scored points and made his offense go everywhere he has been. Veggies is used to slow offenses that just need to be contained between the tackles and that is enough. Heup is going to stretch them and make them run sideline to sideline. They are going to be gassed by halftime and if it is still close at halftime, our boys will run away with it in the 2H because OU's offense will not have enough juice against our offense that is fast and has to go up against this offense every single day in practice. Talking heads are going to explode Saturday night.
Exactly...but still we get guys like Castiglione [sp?] sometimes...you know we have some athlete somewhere that could do it at a truly elite level. That guy is probably playing football, basketball or soccerPart of that is bc American baseball doesn’t typically allow players to do both. They eventually make players be either a pitcher or a position player.
Ohtani just confirmed the greatest offensive season in the history of baseball. 60/60 isn't out of reach with 9 games to go.What Ohtani did today, to make it to 50/50 is one of the greatest single game performances in my lifetime. 6 for 6, 4 runs scored, 10 RBI, 2 doubles, 2 stolen bases and 3 home runs. Mind-boggling and he got thrown out trying to stretch one of his 2 doubles into a triple. If he had made it, he would have hit for the cycle, too. The best thing about all that, Ohtani is on my fantasy league team. Let's just say, I will be playing in my championship series and I dominated the regular season, also.
^ I can hardly believe anyone has ever seen a game.
Who is Jake taylor? We need their offensive line woes to continue this week.Geirean Hatchett’s season is done. The OU offensive lineman will miss the rest of the season after undergoing biceps surgery, Sooners coach Brent Venables said on his coach’s show Monday night.
Hatchett started OU’s win over Temple at left guard before sliding over to handle center duties after Branson Hickman's injury
Oklahoma injury report:
WR Jayden Gibson, Out
WR Jalil Farooq, Out
DB Gentry Williams, Out
OL Geirean Hatchett, Out
LB Dasan McCullough, Doubtful
TE Kade McIntyre, Questionable
OL Branson Hickman, Questionable
OL Jake Taylor, Questionable
WR Nic Anderson, Probable
WR Andrel Anthony, Probable
DB Kendel Dolby, Probable
OL Troy Everett, Probable
So Troy Everett was their starting center that was injured in spring and may be back this week but hasn't played a snap this season. Branson Hickman took his spot but had a high ankle sprain game 1 and is questionable. Hatchett then took over center but tore his bicep and is out for the season. Joshua Bates, a freshmen, has been playing center for them the last 2 games. I'm not sure this is the game you want somebody coming back from injury that hasn't had a game-time snap with your QB, starting at center.
I tuned in for the first time pretty much ever, and I was extremely disappointed. The hype was nowhere near the level it deserved. So slow, so many missed easy lauyps, not at all fun to watch except for the few stars, and even then only some of the time. The reason the stars stand out so much is because the majority of those around them look like high school players, and the overall product was around the level of decent high school basketball.Yeah that's what cracks me up, like legit unbias basketball heads are watching WNBA this year. And even though most wanted to see what Clark was about, it's brought some light on other players that are damn good and fun to watch. But even then none of them are talking about Angel Reese really. If they mention her it's like "she's a great rebounder BUT..." and it's almost comical that the bulk of her rebounds are offensive and coming from her own misses.
Yeah that sounds about right @Enki_Amenra that's why several media reporters were saying them being a 7pt dog at home is huge and most believe we cover that. Haven't seen a single logical sports analyst say OU will win either. It says the line is back to -6.5. . . but I don't think it's really moving. When it's -6.5 it is -118. When it's -7.5 it's +102.
I think they are holding the line steady due to respect for OU's home field. They haven't been more than 3.5pt dogs at home since around 1999 I think.

You know what it is...pure racism and pure jealousy.Something that baffles me, I know most won't care but I don't really chat in any other threads or forums...
wtf is up with the WNBA and their sour grapes to what should be the face of their league?
Clark is shooting 41.7% FG, 34.1% 3PT, 90.4% FT with 19.6 ppg, 5.7 rpg, 8.5 apg, 1.3 spg, and 0.7 bpg.
First player in WNBA history to reach 700 points, 200 rebounds, 300 assists. She now holds the single season record for assists in a season with 329 (and one game left to play) and is 3rd in most 3pt shots made in a season with 120
She has a ton of turnovers, most in a season by a long shot. So still work to be done.
But as a rookie here's where she stands against the entire league this year
5th in points (761)
16th in total rebounds (222)
1st in assists (329)
12th in steals (52)
17th in blocks (27)
2nd in FT % (90.4%)
1st in 3PT Makes (120)
And league "legends" are campaigning for her to not even win rookie of the year...when a legit case exist for her to win MVP even.
