Dating back to his Missouri days. Glen Elarbee has built multiple picket fence O-lines for Josh Heupel. And he continues to still have a job. Who has he developed? Genuine question. Other position coaches on this staff have shown they can develop players. Why can’t he?

Elarbee has a good history. I’m pretty sure he was a Broyles finalist at one stop, and his lines have broken records at multiple locations. He didn’t recruit Darnell Wright, but his development helped him get drafted.

The issue was his recruiting the first 2 years. It’s improved since then. While maybe the blocking hasn’t been great, everyone has to do their job, and that includes Nico. Arkansas brought 7 on a play last night, and Nico panicked. I know on one play, our RB didn’t sustain his block. Others have to help.

Lol… Are you serious? Where in the world were you throughout the decade of ineptitude with Dooley, Butch, and Pruitt as our head coach? We have had many many more disappointing losses than last night. Was it frustrating as all get out? Yes! Disappointing? Yes! The most disappointing loss? Not even remotely close. Let’s flush the thing straight down the toilet and hope the team does the same thing and beat the crap out of Florida.

I get what you are saying, but at the end of the day it is pay for play. I doubt Nico comes here without that NIL deal. That performance was not up to the pay for play standard. He is paid to perform, that is why he is there.

That is probably an unpopular take, but it is what it is now. If somebody doesn’t like it, take it up with the NIL system we are in. CF is officially a semi-pro farm league for the NFL. These are not student athletes anymore, at best they are athlete students.

I can’t think of a worse offensive game plan and in game play calls during the Heupel era. He was 100% outcoached

He did pull back in that game. Problem is, that only works when you have a sizable lead. You can’t play vanilla 3 out of 4 quarters and win. Last night is on Heupel for not unleashing an offense that had no business being in a tight game with lowly Arkansas.

Can you not read? I said "one of the most disappointing" and then described why I feel that way. Under Dooley, Butch, and Pruitt...it was almost expected that the team would struggle and lose to lesser teams. We've got the most complete roster since the late 90s and they laid an egg.

That's my frustration. TN was coming off a bye, while Arky played 5 straight games and was beat up. TN should have never lost that game. Just disappointed.

The offensive players failed to execute as a group. You can make it other things, but that is what i saw.

Linemen failed to get push
Recievers failed to get separation
Nico failed to make passes

If Nico is gonna be that guy he can't overthrow those guys at the end of the game or take sacks when he could throw it away.

He's a RS freshman and he looked like one, but he gets paid the big bucks and we needed him to be better. He knows that too.

I will be in the stands for Florida, and I hope some of you will too. The season isn't over even if some of your expectations are.

A lot of good teams have lost games. We can still achieve our goals.

100%. Nico was inaccurate last night, throwing passes behind receivers and not throwing them open. O-line did not play well.
