Recruiting Football Talk VIII

Hey man, just wanted to let you know that I had two buddies (both LE affiliated) watch the video and both also think it's a good shoot. And in fact, is a fairly good case of your son following training and SOP.
I know it's complicated and it sucks, but legally/consequences speaking, I dont think there is much here.
That's great to hear. Thank you! I will update after he meets with the TBI. He said he finally got some sleep and has an appetite.

I’m in Destin/Miramar Beach and Milton is way out in the gulf and will not threaten the panhandle whatsoever. The sun is out and there’s not a cloud in the sky. But the waves have gotten considerably bigger just in the last few hours.

I’m really thinking and praying for the people in the Tampa area and the gulf coast of the Florida Peninsula. Are there any in this thread that live on that stretch? It’s now up to Cat 5 strength and 160 mph winds.

This was Arkansas biggest game since they hosted Texas a few years ago (they won that one too)

Their QB made throws he never makes

The DBs played like they never have, and probably never will again

Our OL played below their ability

Perfect storm. Happens
Yes, Green made some throws that I didn't expect. Not just short throws either. I knew he was a better runner, but he passed it really well.

i have thought about doing the same many times but luckily this year ive got a nice enough sports bar that i can turn my attention to another game during the many commercials. Although, a few times, the entire bar cries out in agony when all 20 or so screens are playing various commercials all at once, it's happened more than should be theoretically possible lol
NFL does this. If you ever had the NFL Ticket, it's amazing how many times many of the games are on commercial at the same time.

West palm beach, about to head north for the week. You’ll get some action in the panhandle.

My in-laws are on the water in Palm Harbor and got 3 feet of water in their house from Helene. Just had all the drywall and flooring ripped out from it and now may potentially get flooded again along with wind damage. Terrible time for them. Luckily, their ground floor isn't the living space and is mostly just a storage area, but still, about $50k of damage already with more expected.

Coach Heupel’s QBs through their first 5 games being a full time starter.

Hooker (Pitt, TTU, FL, Mizz, USCjr)
- 1058 passing yards
- 13 TD / 1 Int
- 278 rushing
- 3 TDs

Milton (Virginia, AP, FL, Texas-San Antonio, USCjr)
- 1164 passing yards
- 9 TD / 3 Int
- 139 rushing
- 4 TD

Nico (Chatt, NSCT, Kent St, OU, Ark)
- 1050 passing yards
- 7 TD / 2 Int
- 134 rushing
- 1 TD

Just wanted to compare all 3 QBs that have been under Heupel. Also keep in mind two upperclassmen vs a freshman.

If Nico would’ve played like himself against Arkansas, his stats would probably be higher the most impressive here.
Its a little off. Milton had a start against BG and Pitt where he got hurt.

Yeah, I didn’t want to go that in depth with it. Just surface level stuff lol

Either way, it wasn’t to bash Nico. I think it’s impressive honestly. Just shows there is another level
It's also a QB that's much younger with no prior college experience. Milton came to Tennessee with 3 years of college experience and 86 pass attempts. Hooker came to Tennessee with 3 years of college experience and 312 pass attempts.

Saturday's game will set the tone for the rest of the season. Lose it, play flat, and this season will unravel. Win it, play better (I know being at home will help greatly), and things will by and large reset. Many people in the preseason thought UT could be 4-1 going into the Florida game. Not many thought the loss would be against Arkansas and in the manner it played ou
Please, oh please, beat Florida. C'mon, now that we are the better team, we simply can not allow Florida to keep beating us. And, we owe them for last year. My lease fav opponent.
