Recruiting Football Talk VIII

It's difficult to pick against UGA at home.

When is the last time UGA lost at home?

Not BVS but just asking.
In fairness UGA plays fewer home games than others and Auburn and GT have been horrible. GT looking better tho. But it’s hard to beat any SEC team on the road. It just is.

Well, here we are 75% through the regular season and we are still on track.

Step 9 of our 16 step program is another successful step.

Step 1 of our 2 step bulldog season is in the bag! On to Athens to whoop more bulldog butt.

8-1 is looking pretty good, but critical week is coming up fast.

I am still all in for

15-1🤠

Who’s with me?

Go Big Orange!
LFG!

People already chalking the Georgia game up as a loss

This Georgia team isn't like the one from year's past. Meh run defense, meh secondary, meh rushing attack, and a QB that can't handle pressure in the slightest... Also, they are on pace to set records with drops. VOLS defense should feel great about this one

And we took at knee at the 1yard line with our backup QB playing the whole second half.
Great point. And still won by 19.

If we had chosen to score there, our winning margin in the second half (20-7) would have equalled our first half winning margin with Gaston playing (20-7).

What is more likely to get us into the play-offs as a two loss team?

A win over Georgia and a loss to Vandy -OR- A loss the Georgia and a win over Vandy? Also, is everyone okay with a loss to Vandy if it gets us into the playoffs?
How about

15-1 🤠

And leave no doubt!

I've read a lot of posts worrying about 2-loss Tennessee vs 2-loss this or that and how the committee is already working on ways to screw us...

Some reminders:

You cannot have a 2-loss problem until you have 2 losses.

Other teams can't have a 10-win backdoor to the playoff until they have 10 wins.

With the exception of the National Championship game itself, college football games are not played in a vacuum. There will be meaningful wins and losses across the nation in the coming weeks that will impact our path(s).

For now the only game that matters is this weekend. For now the only other team that we should care about is Georgia.
