Recruiting Football Talk VIII

I've read a lot of posts worrying about 2-loss Tennessee vs 2-loss this or that and how the committee is already working on ways to screw us...

Some reminders:

You cannot have a 2-loss problem until you have 2 losses.

Other teams can't have a 10-win backdoor to the playoff until they have 10 wins.

With the exception of the National Championship game itself, college football games are not played in a vacuum. There will be meaningful wins and losses across the nation in the coming weeks that will impact our path(s).

For now the only game that matters is this weekend. For now the only other team that we should care about is Georgia.

Win one game at a time.

If you have watched UGA at all, you know they are beatable. We match up very well. Pressure Beck, stop the run, hold them to less than 20 points - just like our D had done all season. UGA's O line is very average.

Even Moore can win against them if he plays within himself and finds the open receivers underneath. Our heavy run personnel packages are awesome. However, I expect Nico to be back.

If our OL plays their best game, part of which is not having a ton of false starts, and our D plays their normal game, we win.

I nominate Bama.
Exactly I don’t understand how the Big ten gets 4 in anyway? Let’s say Indiana wins wouldn’t that mean Ohio state is out because teams like 2 loss ole miss or bama would get in over them based on strength of schedule?.. but if Ohio state wins its Oregon and Ohio state and Penn state getting in, but where does that leave Indiana?…again you going to put them in over ole miss or Notre dame? What’s the point of strength of schedule then? So many variables still at play.
