Recruiting Football Talk VIII

Dude two weeks ago the ACC lost out on having 2 teams in where have you been?
Read the posts. I've said ACC is likely only one team. But if ND falters and that spot opens, the committee might choose another ACC team rather than opting for a fifth SEC team. It's a 12-team playoff. They're not gonna have half the field made up of SEC teams. The other teams have to come from somewhere.

I think only the Big 12 and ACC champions will make it in. So BYU looks like they may win the Big 12, and the ACC will be between Miami and SMU. Big 10 will probably have Oregon, Ohio State, Penn State, and Indiana in. Boise State looking like they'll get the G5 spot. ND currently in, but that could change. SEC gets four in IMO. IF ND falters, the committee has to choose between taking a fifth SEC team or taking a second ACC team.
Miami is 3rd in conference now. They need need to win out. That road game against Syracuse isn’t a guaranteed win for them either.

Sure it’s possible but it’s also possible the big ten only gets in 3 teams…

....They were pushing, grabbing, knocking us in the facemask after the play, all night, holding Pierce, right in front of the refs, and no calls ever... Twice the penalty was so obvious that both commentators and the rules expert said they should have called it or they called it and they should not have...Disturbing being that it was Ms St AT HOME....
(1) at home, (2) with us being SEC 1 with a win, and (3) playing the last place team. In other words, all the putative reasons people look to explain bias as general not particular.

I think Miss State's personal fouls after plays were based on their knowledge that if we reacted our players risked being suspended against GA for the first half. So it was open season. Officiating crews need to take that into consideration.

Results. At 11-1, Indiana has results on their side.

Are you always this obtuse? Do you really think the entire field will be conference champions and SEC teams?
Results over what? How are you so obtuse you can’t see that SOS is not on their side and I literally posted what the CFP panel looks at in determining their rankings…

@GoodTimeVol it wasn’t a slight at you. That’s why I said it’s because Clemson is currently 6-1 while Miami is 5-1. Clemson plays Pitt on the road next weekend and could be interesting. Miami is on the road at Syracuse at the end of the season, and that won’t exactly be a gimme either. Miami would win the tie breaker since they beat Louisville while Clemson 💩 the bed.

Im dense for pointing out SOS 😂😂😂 sorry I don’t cater the same perspective as sportscenter
You're dense because you actually believe the committee will follow their own guidelines to a tee. That's not what they do. But we'll see how they balance it out in the end.

A little surprised we didn't see Keith at RB last night.
I do like how Seldon looked. I wish he had gotten more reps earlier in the year. You can see some things he would've already learned if he had more in-game experience. I'm glad he is getting reps now though, should pay off big for next season.

Lol no thats not how this works SOS is a thing otherwise we would have saw Boise state in the BCS championship game back in that day you just don’t like that the discussion has switched from Tenn being out
Seems you do like that the discussion has switched to Tennessee being out.
