ND lost at home to NIU

But nobody in the media acts like that game even happened. Amazing.
well, the committee can't ignore it. and i think that's why you're seeing some movement in these teams ranked 6-12. those teams can get seeded differently depending on conf finishes etc. and allows the freedome of moving up or down as results change.

when the season ends....and all scenarios are played out....then it'll be a hard look at resume vs resume. i am interested to see what happens to teams like TX, IU and PSU who really don't have the schedules, but have good records..especially if TX loses the SEC title game. i think it's hard to imagine a PSU or TX team that has been in/around the top 5 or 10 all year to suddenly put them out because now, the schedules don't add up.....in that way, they're they beneficiaries of starting the season on 3rd base....

resume wise, you could definitely argue ours is better than both PSU and TX.

so this weekly update to the projections is frustrating, but it's not a finished product either.

beat UGA....things get cleared up quick. at the end of the day, nothing has changed for us. we continue to control our own destiny and "just win" still matters.

Perfect example here..may not look like much but…it’s a good sign…the spread was at -11 i could be wrong..but nonetheless that spread has went down 2 points already…as you can see Georgia right now clearly has all the money…so the 36 betting% you see thats only 12% of the money is what’s moving that line…”BIG MONEY” I’ll be taking the Tennessee ML this week if this holds up…big money moves the lines..I can not stress enough the kind of money you have to be laying on the table for that line to move even a point. @TrippieRedd @mrMet @Enki_Amenra

Been seeing the same on sportsbettingdimes. I think as soon as Nico is officially ruled to play the smart money will pour in for the good guys and that line moves more.

Had a Mandela Effect moment this morning. We were sitting around the table talking and someone mentioned the harvest festival at Dollywood. I asked if anyone had been to Kenny Rogers theme park Kennywood. A couple of guys laughed but three out of the nine people there were convinced Kenny Rogers had a theme park. Apparently there is a park in Pennsylvania called Kennywood, but it has no affiliation with Kenny Rogers. Any of you morans think Kenny had a theme park? I would have bet money that Kennywood was is version of Dollywood.
I would've laid a dollar on it being Kenny Roger's park. I even remember a news segment or an article on Kenny opening a park like Dollywood. I remember chuckling about what a rip off it was.

Not speaking for @Orangeredblooded but hard pass on Kenny’s Wood.

If I'm Sankey, I'm hoping Tennessee wins this weekend to avoid a lot of the potential controversies over who plays in the SECC and which 10-2 teams make the playoffs.
Correct and if Georgia has to be the sacrificial lamb, then so be it. I'm not going lose any sleep over a 3 loss Georgia team missing the CFP .

I don’t know if yall have been watching the news lately and have heard about the mysterious island in South Carolina that contains lab monkeys somehow escaping but this story makes it so much funnier..like watching a movie almost like it becomes reality right in front of you😭😂😂

Who would win in a fight? Chimpanze vs Pit Bull? Chimp may have the edge here. Those things are vicious when they're mad.

So the SEC tie-breakers for the Championship game are as follows.

A. Head-to-head competition among the tied teams
B. Record versus all common Conference opponents among the tied teams
C. Record against the highest (best) placed common Conference opponent in the Conference standings, and proceeding through the Conference standings among the tied teams
D. Cumulative Conference winning percentage of all Conference opponents among the tied teams
E. Capped relative total scoring margin versus all Conference opponents among the tied teams
F. Random draw of the tied teams

You have 3 1 loss teams right now... Texas vs A&M will eliminate 1.

Best case Vols win out and we're in Atlanta as a 1 loss and will make playoffs win or lose that game. I like our chances against A&M better, so would pull for them to upset the Longhorns.

Ole Miss should finish with just 2 losses
Bama should finish with just 2 losses
LSU should finish with just 2 losses

Assuming the worst case and you end up with just Texas as a 1 loss and a log jam...

Vols, 1-1 in head to head only playing Bama & Georgia
Ole Miss, 1-1 in head to head only playing LSU & Georgia
LSU, 1-2 in head to head playing Ole Miss, A&M & Bama
Bama, 3-1 in head to head playing Georgia, Missouri, LSU, & Vols
Georgia, 1-2 in head to head playing Bama, Ole Miss, & Vols
Missouri, 0-2 in head to head playing Bama & A&M
A&M, 2-0 in head to head playing Missouri & LSU
Texas, 0-1 in head to head only playing Georgia (if A&M wins this would be how Texas stacks up)

So even in that scenario Bama still couldn't make it to Atlanta...

So at this point the only way Bama CAN make the SEC title game is if A&M beats Texas AND Georgia beats us.

not sure, if you're projecting, that assumes SMU would beat Miami...so you could still have Miami in as the ACC champ i guess. if you're going on standings right now, then you put SMU on that line.
I'm thinking SMU will win the ACC, Miami can't stop a nose bleed and SMU has a really good offense.

Let's make it happen. I'm in GA next weekend to visit family. It'll be nicer coming off of a UT win over UGA.
