Whatever you need to tell yourself man. I'll make this prediction though...the secondary will be the weakest unit on the field again this year and Martinez won't be here next season. In 2020 we gave up over 2,658 pass yards good for 99th in the nation out of 127 teams…again the argument is that it was the weakest unit on defense talent wise and statistically when he took over and that is a true statement. Has Martinez been great? No, but comparing him to the DL and LB coaches in terms of the talent they inherited is disingenuous
That's how my mom does it. It's why I was asking. Asked her what she's doing, "making chili". I knew they had beans and cornbread this weekend, .My mom would always fix pinto beans and cornbread and potatoes, and we'd have a good supper. Then she'd take the leftover pinto beans and make chili the next day.
Idk @Volfan76 I've also heard part of it was scheme related too. There's talent in the secondary so we'll see. I know in practice, they've reported the defense has looked pretty solid and that we have a good front 7.Whatever you need to tell yourself man. I'll make this prediction though...the secondary will be the weakest unit on the field again this year and Martinez won't be here next season.
Statistically speaking WM group has improved each year, if you want to use statistics to support an argument. That is why people defend WM. The product Pruitt put on the field was not good, visually or statistically. Statistically speaking his defense was horrible. I don't understand why you're defending Pruitt.Martinez isn’t good and Pruitt is a good defensive mind statistically speaking. Pruitt had a lot of problems as our HC but coaching the defense wasn’t one. I still don’t know why people defend Martinez.
