Stoerner’s Fumble posted a month back or so that Matthews is a very good run blocker. (If you believe some of the guys on this site)So 1 play = elite blocker? I mean...they've had how many practices and other games this year and you cherry pick his ONE good block?
I could pick one of Squirrel's great catches and share that every time people complain about drops... I guess from now on.
To me there is a reason the younger WR talent isn't on the field... and I don't think it's because Heupel's an idiot.
I follow you. It all makes sense on the field. Here's what sucks...
Our best win is Bama at home
Bama's best wins are Georgia at home and at LSU
Georgia's best wins are Clemson, at Texas, and home against us
Ole Miss's best win is at home against Georgia
Texas' best win is at Vandy (lol)
A&M's best win is beating LSU at home
Texas vs A&M will either put Texas in the playoffs or put both out (I think A&M winning then getting waxed in Atlanta would hurt Texas majorly)
Objectively unless they make/lose in Atlanta I think Bama and Georgia both are staring at a playoff birth. I think Texas beats A&M and they're end regardless of Atlanta. A&M has to win out to get in. Ole Miss and Vols both are going to need to win out and do so with some style points.
How is lsu considered a big win when they lose to Florida, seems like beating Florida is betterHere's what sucks...

Unfortunately, I think it will take a lot to 86 Texas
The CFP is a TV product at the end of the day, and Texas is an enormous fanbase/market. They'll travel well and buy tickets too.
I do think that you are correct.I mean they just need 1 win and they're in... beat A&M OR win SEC title in Atlanta...because losing to Georgia is going to be considered the best loss of any team with just 1.
But losing to A&M (and then the Aggies getting waxed in Atlanta) will be a big talking point.
If I was betting....I'd take Texas, Bama, Georgia to be in the playoffs though... as of today.

In other the same old crap -- even with the 12 team playoff.I mean they just need 1 win and they're in... beat A&M OR win SEC title in Atlanta...because losing to Georgia is going to be considered the best loss of any team with just 1.

Losing at home to a bad Kentucky team hurts. Not to mention getting stomped by an LSU team that is looking worse and worse. Meanwhile Florida has been making itself look respectable and may well give OM hell.View attachment 698708
Interesting that Ole Miss isn’t on here.
When South Carolina destroys Clemson, that will take care of any 2nd bid hopes for the ACCThis week:
> smoke UTEP, make Nico look hot again like early this season. We can't just win by 20 or something. We have to have a classic Heupel offensive showcase.
> Ohio State needs to blow Indiana off the field.
> Florida over Ole Miss would solve a lot for us
> Penn State losing to Minnesota would reframe how people feel about PSU, I think
> I think that we want Miami to win out and secure the ACC's auto-bid, leaving no ACC at-large lingering.
> Big 12: It would almost be better for Colorado to win out and BYU to lose 1-2 more? Same thing with the ACC logic above. We just need 1 team the CFP can love from Big12. If Colorado is hanging around, and starts to build some buzz, the committee will toss them in. Non-football fans will tune in in droves and the CFP knows that.
