I hope it happens so long as we don't have beat them to a pulp. I will root for them against anyone else.

When Tulane beat USC in the Cotton Bowl in '22, I was on pins and needles hoping we didn't get sent to the Cotton Bowl. As it happened we got to crush Dabo in the Orange Bowl and I got to thoroughly enjoy Tulane's game, instead of hating them until the game was over.

This year my problem would be not wanting Bama to hop over Boise. The committee has Bama at 13.

And that will be the million dollar question come Saturday. I would really love to see how this team performs when they get a fair whistle. We are scared to death to run anything outside the tackles or throw any bubble screens, because we get called for holding or OPI almost every time. I think Heup feels limited in his playcalling because of this. Would also love to see how dominant the DL can be if OL holding gets called for a change.

All the talk about where we might end up in the playoffs…none of it matters if we don’t take care of business Saturday. I hope the team is laser focused, but loose, and comes out with their hair on fire. We always seem tight in these type situations of must win with big things in front of us. Heup has to find a way to relax the guys and play fast but execute.

JUST WIN!!!!

Wonder how many fumbles Sampson has compared to other RBs that made finalist.

I bet that has something to do why he was left off.

Its the same reason we could beat Bama, and be behind them. Same reason we get 168 motion penalties in a season, to our opponents 1. Its why our RB is the best in the best conference in the World, and why Jeanty, whoever the **** that is, will be in NY. End rant.
