Recruiting Football Talk VIII

I know this is sick, but somehow I hate it less than Beamer getting in.

Think it's the Saban years making me numb over their successes. And this is minor on their scale. But Beamer's goofy ass getting in would be new and harder to see. Also don't see Bama getting past Round 1 so don't really care either way. Actually think USCjr could make a run, don't want to witness that.
Oh, no! Don't ever hope good things for the tide.

The bamaritis has got you!!!

You need to watch the 22, 95, and 24 TSIO games, stop drinking Milo's tea immediately, and stay out of Gatlinburg for a few weeks. That should help. 🙏

Big 10 bias is a real thing and when it comes to OSU it’s absolutely real. Same goes for the stupid Alabama tater diggers and the SEC. How they rank us versus OSU this week will be a big tell. Hopefully we are 6 and they are 7 but I don’t think anyone would be surprised if they reverse the order. Remember 2 weeks ago 4 of the top 5 teams were from the Big 10 which is ridiculous.
They have wins over Penn St and Indiana

We have wins over Bama and no one else helped us

Their loss is worse than ours

It's really close, but if they do what they normally do, which is apply the eye test and recency bias then they should drop below us.

Losing 13-10 AT HOME to that Michigan team is horrific.

Neyland playoff game is better TV anyway.

It's really shaping up to be us vs a top talented team (or PSU #11). Feels like we'll have to get lucky to land an IU, Miami, etc.

Rank these 1-8 (1 being most favorable for us):

Would you rather have:

A) OSU at The Shoe (7)

B) OSU in Neyland (3)

C) Tex in Austin (6)

D) Tex in Neyland (2)

E) UGA in Athens (8)

F) UGA in Neyland (4)

G) Penn St whiteout (5)

H) Penn St in Neyland (1)

OSU Neyland and it's not close

Just read the Athletic projections for CFP playoff and they’re saying SMU gets in, even if they lose next weekend to Clemson. I just don’t see that. Someone enlighten me, because that makes 0 sense when you compare their resume to other teams.
I think if they win they get Miami’s spot. That blocks Bama so it’s great by me.
