Let's say Georgia loses soundly to Texas.

Watch them flip Ohio State and Georgia. Vols back to Athens. Of course that would mean Indiana has to go to Columbus.

Unless they tweak it so Indiana goes to Notre Dame or something.

That Tenn is above Indiana no matter what but teams that are playing can drop or rise. If they drop we could conceivably move up but a team currently below us that doesn’t play this weekend can’t jump us. IOW, Indy can’t jump us, BAMA can’t jump us etc

Nothing to do with Tennessee, everything to do with the fact that Tennessee is in the 9 spot. They will reshuffle teams based on the results of the conference championship games. But they won't punish a team for losing that game by taking them from playing at home to on the road. Which is why I don't think Penn State or Georgia will drop below #8.

I mean last year they punished FSU for losing a player while winning the ACC championship game. So we really don't know yet what they're going to do.

Year before TCU lost in their title game and didn't drop a spot because they didn't want Michigan vs Ohio State in the first round and then TCU beat them anyway

2021 OK State dropped 4 spots for losing in their title game. They have punished teams for losing and have also not...we really don't know what they'll do yet.

I think it's going to really come down to matchups, and if the decision is to protect Ohio State, Penn State, or Indiana in the first round they'll want to give Ohio State the best option.

His upside is apparent. Soooo much potential.

He just kinda looked lost at times. A couple times we were moving through a play and he forgot what he was supposed to do next, then remembered while ZZ waited for him. One time ZZ pointed to where he was supposed to go. I think he will just take a little longer to adjust to this level, which is fine.

I don't believe it's a slam dunk that Oregon beats Penn State. Penn State should've beaten OSU and Oregon barely won at Wisconsin.

For the SEC Championship game it's a toss up will be a close game in the end. I can't see a blowout in that game. Actually I think Georgia wins because game is in Atlanta..

Last thing I'll say... they have Ohio State 6th right now, which will put them as the 8th seed hosting a home game

If you think Georgia losing or Penn State losing doesn't end up benefiting the Suckeyes to get a better first round matchup you're crazy. We may not move a spot though in the shakeup but I think they'll do whatever they can to change Ohio State from an 8 vs 9 to a 6 or 7 vs 10 or 11

Why not? They would kick Boise out of the playoff entirely if they lose. I get that you don't believe they'd take PSU or uga down enough to lose a home game, but it's not a certainty.

Look at all the committee members. It's not a big 10 committee. The big 10 has always gotten love in every ranking because outside their top 2 or 3 everyone in that conference is complete trash. The top teams always have at most 2 losses so they're always ranked higher than they should be.

It's obvious that changes have to be made to the playoff seeding and OT. This OT setup is like a 5* chef cooking a brilliant meal and then Troy from the trailer park's dog laying a greasy turd across the top of it.

I like college OT rules.
