I have a feeling when it’s all set and done, we won’t be matched up with Ohio St. They will jump Georgia if they lose, and I assume PSU will lose and OSU will jump them due to head to head.
I think we’re either hosting or playing in Happy Valley in two weeks.
I kind of see your point, but I grew up a Navy brat. Our military men and women keep ridiculous schedules and don't make near as much. Not even close. And military families sacrifice so much more. The schedule for a coach of a high profile college football team is ridiculous, I really can't imagine anyone wanting to do that, regardless of money.

Sorry, I'll step off of me peddle stool now.
I would add rank and file career military to that list as well. You're right, not unlike coaching just less pay and more risk, have to be totally committed and it is murder on the family. Takes different kind of people for sure.I kind of see your point, but I grew up a Navy brat. Our military men and women keep ridiculous schedules and don't make near as much. Not even close. Flirted with OCS in 2007. At that time, Ensign salary was around $37K.I was in the Navy from 90-94. I was going thru my paperwork from that time a few months ago.
It's embarrassing how little we were paid. I guess I was too young to realize that at the time. I hope it's better these days.
No idea, but doubtful. My dad retired after 21 years of service in 1989. Growing up, he was out to sea for a lot of my childhood. And I always knew he was going to dangerous places.I was in the Navy from 90-94. I was going thru my paperwork from that time a few months ago.

This is not really true. The o-line has run blocked pretty well all season and pass pro was poor in the beginning due to injuries and inexperience, backs missing protections. It is scheme why we have the running numbers we do. We will get those numbers with anyone coaching. How you determine good ol coaches are pass protection; pass off, pick up, awareness, FUNDAMENTALS( posturing up, feet stance, hand placement, get off. These directly correlate to coaching. Some of These have been bad for years.
I'm torn. My hatred for Bama makes me want them out of the playoffs, but I also despise Dabo with a passion. And it seems as if one of Bama or Clemson is bound to make it. Why can't they just pick Miami or another Big 12 school for that last spot?
